Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from Altenew Scrapbook Blog you are on the right track!
This beautiful set of 36 vibrant watercolor half-pans coordinates perfectly with our line of ink. They are intensely pigmented, fade minimally when drying, and some colors have lovely granulating effects. They are stored in a convenient plastic case, designed with space for your brush (included) and a palette in the lid for mixing. Some of the case lids snap off upon opening and can easily snap back on after you are finished creating so you can store your mixed paints with the rest of the pan colors. The set contains: 36 Artist Grade Watercolor Half-Pans, Plastic Case, Water Brush.

Here is what I came up with:
I made my own floral patterns with the Beautiful Day stamp set, and then watercoloured them with brand new Watercolor 36 Pan Set – I love these vibrant colours so much!!

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Week 2

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday.
I’m back again with a watercoloured floral card for the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge 397!

Here is my take on the Sketch 397:I started by die cutting rounded rectangle panel from watercolour paper using large stitched panel die in the Blueprints 31 Die-namics. I then stamped leaves from the Painted Poppies set on the panel using black pigment ink, coloured the panel with watercolours. I die cut stitched circle strip from kraft card stock using the Blueprints 31 Die-namics as well.
I stamped poppies & leaves from the Painted Poppies set on a separate watercolour paper in pigment black, watercoloured them, and then die cut them with the Painted Poppies Die-namics. For the sentiment, I used the More Essential Sentiments stamp set.

SSS So Grateful For You

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
I want to share with you today my watercoloured floral feather card with SSS Earth Has Music stamp set – it contains 4 of gorgeous floral feather images!

Here is what I came up with:
To create the card, I die cut A2 sized rectangle panel from watercolour paper using Basic Rectangles die set first. I then stamped one of floral feathers from the Earth Has Music set on the top left corner and the bottom right corner of watercolour panel using VersaFine Onyx Black. I watercoloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Uplifting Sentiments set on the centre of the main panel using VersaFine Onyx Black as well.
I love these newly released Earth Has Music & Uplifting Sentiments stamp sets so much, I think you would like them too! :D

MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge Week 1

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday.
Woo hoo! I am so excited to be guesting with My Favorite Things in August for their Wednesday Sketch Challenge!!

Here is my take on the Sketch 396:
To create the card, I die cut Wonky Stitched Rectangle panel from watercolour paper first, and then made a watercoloured floral patterns with the Bold Blooms stamp set – I stamped flowers & leaves with light coloured dye ink, then coloured all stamped images with watercolors. Next, I stamped cute bunnies & bear from the Snuggle Bunnies set using black dye ink, coloured them with alcohol markers, and then die cut them with the Snuggle Bunnies Die-namics.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the More Essential Sentiments set on Steel Grey cardstock with white embossing powder, and then trimmed it down using long fishtail banner in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I mounted all elements on Grout Gray card base as shown in the picture using foam tape.

SSS Happiness

Hello crafty friends!
I have a summery “Beleaf” card today with the Plantiful Puns stamp set.

Here is what I came up with:
To create the card, I stamped a mason Jar & succulents from the Plantiful Puns set on watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black, coloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel, and then fussy cut them out.
For the watercoloured butterfly panel, I die cut A2 sized rectangle panel from watercolour paper using Basic Rectangles die set, trimmed the panel down using Scallop Stitches die set, and then die cut Flickering Butterfly Circle from the centre of the panel. I then lightly watercoloured around the butterflies with green colours. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment “Happiness” from the Plantiful Puns set on the bottom of the panel in black. Finally I mounted the watercoloured panel on kraft card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on it using foam tape.
