Watercoloring an Embossed Image

Hello folks,
yesterday, I made another watercolour card. I tried to emulate the Jennifer McGuire’s tutorial – Shimmer Watercolouring! LOL!!

Here it is:

for this card, I chose ‘Roses are Red stamp by Flourishes’ however, hmm.. it wasn’t perfectly fit to shimmer watercolouring… it is a bit intricate (just in my opinion) I need to have more flower stamps :D
Anyway, I chose it and love it!!

Can you see sparkly red petals and green leaves? It is hard for me to put into just one picture though~

I really love to participate in watercolor card class!!! All classes are very AWESOME!

Guest Designer at CASology Week 95

Week 95 - Splash CASology WEEK 95 – SPLASH

YAY!! I was very happy to be invited by Melissa at CASology, to be the guest designer this week. The cue word is SPLASH.

Here it is:

for this week’s card, I want to make Fun and Colourful CAS card with one layer!
I chose ‘Polka dot background stamp by Unity Stamp Co.’ and distress ink pads Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers for rainbow colour effects.

At first, I applied 3 distress ink colours up to one third of stamp area and spritzed it once or twice with water and then stamp the image!! So easy and simple :D

Lastly, I chose ‘Life is Fun stamp by Hero Arts’ for delivering message LOL!!

SPRING FLOWERS

happy weekend is back! LOL!! Do you have any special events for this weekend? YES!! YOU DO!! (If you are someone’s mother or daughter :D)

MOTHERS DAY!!
11th of May is Mothers day in Australia. I am not a mum yet but, I am a daughter. So, I made ‘SPRING FLOWER’ card for my mum.

I used ‘Everything Flowers Stamp by Hero Arts‘ and made watercolour background card in a row. Watercolour background is really charming.

VINTAGE DOILY

Hi folks,
these days, I take Watercolor for Card Makers class from Online Card Classes and it really inspires me! AWESOME CLASS!!

Recently, I bought Wendy Vecchi (Studio 490) Background Stamps Vintage Doily and it is awesome too! So, I made watercolour background card with this gorgeous stamp. Actually, it isn’t background stamp but, quite a large enough to cover whole paper.

Here it is:

I used Distress ink pads Evergreen Bough, Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, and Studio Calico Color Theory Ink Deja Blue for watercolour background and added spotty effects on background. And then, lightly, I spritzed ‘Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz Frost’ for finishing touch.

Regarding Ranger Embossing Powder Super Fine Gold, it is Fabulous! I LOVE it and strongly recommend to use it.
