Let it Snow

Hello folks! I just popping in to share my ‘Let it Snow’ stencil card today.

HeroArtsHolidayChallengeI’m entering this card in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge: Anything Goes holiday cards and projects!

Here is what I came up with:
20141007-01-EN
20141007-04-EN
1) First, I applied Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves Distress inks to the white paper panel using an ink blending tool to create a gradient. 2) I then layered Hero Arts Swirl Tree Stencil over the panel. 3) I layered WET TISSUE over the stencil because I wanted to take out colours :D Pressed entire area for 3~4minutes. (using wet tissue is so easy and handy technique lol!!)

20141007-03-ENHooray! I was soooo~ satisfied with the results. Yay!! A mysteriously romantic. Isn’t it?

20141007-02-ENI added different sized clear rhinestones and spritzed Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Opaque White ink splattering for finishing touches.

20141001-01

As part of the wild card team, I am to create a card in the Clean and Simple (CAS) style. I really love Clean and Simple but, it was a bit of a challenge because I usually make bold cards :D

I chose rustic wagon with full of yummy pumpkins from Flourishes Autumn Blessings Stamp Set as a focal point. I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black and coloured with Copic markers. I made one layer card!

Ornaments with Joy!

Hello folks! I just popping in to share my gold embossing Christmas card today. Wow! Christmas seems to come close :D

Here is my ornament card:
20141001-01
I love Hero Arts 2014 Christmas release. They are all truly amazing!

I made it with Hero Arts Stamp & Cuts Let It Snow. I used both solid and outline ornament stamps. First, I heat embossed ornaments in gold and then cut out stamped images using a coordinating die. It is so much easier than cutting with scissors and much less time consuming :D I finished it off with red & white twine, some clear rhinestones, and sequins.

Poppystamps CardMaker Blog Hop

Hello folks! It’s Poppystamps CardMaker Blog Hop Day!

Today I get the honour to show you my first Poppystamps card as a designer of Poppystamps team. I feel very blessed to be given this wonderful opportunity, and look forward to sharing lovely Poppystamps products with you. You could see the announcement on the Poppystamps blog here :D

Here is my first Poppystamps card:
20140919-01Autumn is spreading out over the country even though spring time in Australia :D So, I decided to make autumn card with beautiful Poppystamps die!

20140919-02To create my card, I chose gorgeous Poppystamps Leaf Silhouette die as a focal point. 1) I made my own autumn coloured panel using several distress inks at first. I blended Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, and Bundled Sage distress inks together using blending tool and inked the edges of the panel in gold. 2) Once panel has dried, I directly die cut on the panel using Leaf Silhouette die. 3) I then affixed dimensional foam tape back side of the panel and die cut another piece of Leaf Silhouette on white base. 4) I then carefully took only outline part of die cut off from the panel using tweezer and then adhered inlay white colour outline leaves. I tied natural twine and spritzed shiny gold ink splattering for finishing touches.

20140919-06Poppystamps and CardMaker design team between September 19-26 we’ll be giving away two fabulous dies – Leaf Silhouette & Thank You Background – to one random commenter. Winner will be posted on the Poppystamps blog on September 29.
