YoonsunHur-MFT-JuneRelease-Day4-01Penguin, penguin, penguin… they are enjoying the summer sunshine on the beach?!… Super cool, isn’t it?

To create the card, I used Penguins in Paradise Stamp Set as my main supply. 1)I stamped the penguins on the white cardstock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers and then die cut them with the matching dies. 2)For my own sun ray background, I used Lemon Drop dye ink. I masked the areas where I don’t want to apply ink using washi tapes. I then inked the open areas with Lemon Drop dye ink, peeled off the washi tapes on the inked panel. 3)To finish it off, I mounted the penguins and others as shown to the sun ray background, added some clear sequins.

TCC #36 – Green and White

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept!
36
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150527-TCC36-01I was inspired by the green & white colour combo and diagonal striped paper straws!

For my card today, I used Studio Calico Happy Something Stamp Set as my main supply. 1)I stamped the sentiments and cupcakes diagonally across the watercolour panel with black pigment ink. 2)I then loosely coloured around the stamped areas with Peerless watercolours. 3)I stamped the ‘Forty’ word with black pigment ink, clear heat embossed, fussy cut it. I then mounted it above the cupcake image like a birthday candle using dimensional foam tape. 4)To finish it off, I added some enamel dots, washi tape, leaf wood veneer as shown to the stamped panel.

MFT May Ingenious Inking Challenge – Watercolour Wash

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to My Favorite Things Ingenious Inking Challenge! This month’s theme is watercolour wash.
MFT-IngeniousInking
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150526-MFT01
I am in the process of getting used to using MFT inks. Although I haven’t been able to fully master them, I am falling in love with MFT dye inks the more I use them. I don’t know why I didn’t use it before!! The colours of MFT dye inks are vivid, bright, cheerful and even dynamic!

1)For my ombre watercolour background, I painted on the watercolour panel with Razzle Berry, Bubblegum, Pink Lemonade dye inks (from the bottom to the top) using a wide paint brush. When I make watercolour background I brush the water over the panel before apply the colours. It will allow the colours to blend more naturally. 2)I then stamped the flowers with MFT hybrid inks, fussy cut them. 3)To finish it off, I mounted the flowers as shown to the watercolour panel using dimensional foam tape, added clear sequins.

I strongly recommend you to try creating your own watercolour background using these colours!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!!
