Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to My Favorite Things July Die-namics Design! This month’s theme is Rise to the Occasion.
MFT-DienamicsDesignJoin us for this month’s Die-namics Design as we go up, up, and away with projects featuring balloon Die-namics. Patterned, painted, textured, and peek-a-boo – so many fun embellishing options with this iconic image that just says party. Celebrate with us, won’t you?

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150724-MFT-DD01To create the card, I 1) Blended on the top portion of the watercolour panel with Wild Cherry, Tickled Pink, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash dye inks using mini blending tool, added white ink splatters. 2) Trimmed the inked panel with Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 3) Inked on the watercolour paper with dye inks, die cut balloons with Birthday Wishes & Balloons Die-namics. 4) Stamped the sentiment from the Birthday Wishes & Balloons Stamp Set on the bottom portion of the inked panel using embossing ink, heat embossed with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to the card base.

MFT Summer School Session 2 – Monochromatic

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!
Today is the last day of MFT summer school session 2. The topic of the day is ‘Monochromatic‘.
PrintA monochromatic colour scheme is created by taking any one of the twelve hues from the basic colour wheel and repeating it in various shades and tones. This scheme looks clean and elegant and very easy on the eyes, especially with blue or green hues.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150717-MFT-Monochromatic01To create the card, I 1) Prepared a circle mask die cut, the same size as the Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics, and used mask die cut to adhere it to the centre of the white panel. 2) Stamped Tiny Stars Background on the white panel using Grout Gray dye ink. 3) Took off the mask die cut and die cut happy birthday circle from the stamped panel using Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics. 4) For the inside of the circle window, I coloured on the watercolour paper with After Midnight, Lush Lagoon, Summer Splash dye inks using a wet paintbrush. and then adhered it to the card base, added some clear sequins & beads. 5) Placed the circle window panel on top to finish it off.

SSS The Color of Fun – Fruity background

Hello, hello!! Are you guys having fun in this summer?
Today I want to share with you my own fruity background with Simon Says Stamp The Color of Fun released products.

I used Cone Building Stamp Set in a creative way! There are a lot of apples in my first card :DYoonsunHur-20150716-SSS-02To create the card, 1)I randomly stamped a circle image from Cone Building Stamp Set on the white card stock using Hero Arts Neon Red dye ink and then stamped leaves from Summer Garden Stamp Set using SSS Spring Rain and Audrey Blue dye inks, small dots from My Sunshine Stamp Set using SSS Sunshine dye ink. 2)I trimmed the stamped panel with SSS Stitches Rectangles Die and then mounted it on the SSS Schoolhouse Red card stock. 3)I drew the white lines using Sakura white gel pen.

YoonsunHur-20150716-SSS-01It is the same technique with my first card here, but there are a lot of fresh lemons not apples :D

To create this card, 1)I randomly stamped a circle from Cone Building Stamp Set on the white panel using Sunshine dye ink, leaves from One With Nature Stamp Set using SSS Spring Rain and Audrey Blue dye inks, tiny triangles from Cone Building Stamp Set using Audrey Blue, Lemon Chiffon dye inks. 2)I then mounted the stamped panel on the SSS Sunshine card stock. 3)I drew the white lines using white gel pen.

Fruity background is perfect for the summer right?! Want to stay cool this summer? Oh yes!! Simon Says Stamp Splash of Color release is coming very soon and it will definitely be so cool!!
