Today our team is taking a fresh look at our most recent release with inspiring ideas and innovative takes on the complete collection. I made a fun card using a newly released Sweet Succulents along with Cat-itude stamp set.
For my card today, I was inspired by my friend’s kitty “Miru”. She really likes all kinds of succulents, lol!!
To create this card, I 1) Die cut a piece of white card stock using A2 sized stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Stamped Geometric Grid Background onto the stitched rectangle panel using Natural hybrid ink. 3) Stamped the succulents from Sweet Succulents set, cat from Cat-itude set on a separate watercolour paper using pigment black ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolours, then die cut succulents using Sweet Succulents Die-namics, cat using Cat-itude Die-namics. 4) Tied some white threads around each succulent die cut – white threads represent the cat hair. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP sequins.

Creating something using felt sheets is a very new to me, even I wasn’t interested in hand stitching before. But I guess I changed my mind!! I’ve had so much fun with plush dies and felt sheets over the last weekend!
