SSS Spring Plush – Flower basket

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using SSS Spring Plush Exclusives. SSS-Spring Plush-Banner
SSS-FeltCreating something using felt sheets is a very new to me, even I wasn’t interested in hand stitching before. But I guess I changed my mind!! I’ve had so much fun with plush dies and felt sheets over the last weekend!
YoonsunHur-20160307-SSS-A001For this, I was totally inspired by so talented Wanda Guess. I love making floral themed cards and Wanda’s beautiful felt pin fixed my attention!!

To create this card, I die cut flowers and leaves from assorted SSS wool felt sheets using Swirl Flowers and Leaves and Button Egg plush dies. And then I stitched them (as shown to the picture) using Hemptique Earthy Natural Hemp Cord. For the swirl pattern panel, I die cut a piece of white card stock using Stitches Squares die, then die cut from the panel using Stitched Whirl Background die. I then inked the edge of the panel with Antique Linen Distress ink using mini blending tool. I mounted all elements as shown to white square card base using double-sided tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

YoonsunHur-20160307-SSS-B001For my second card, I made the same flower basket as the first card but using papers. I die cut flowers and leaves from SSS card stocks – I used Lemon Chiffon card stock for basket and Schoolhouse Red, Sunshine, Cotton Candy, Burnt Orange for flowers and Green Apple, Mint for leaves.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 4

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 4.

Today I am sharing with you a couple cards that I’ve made using super adorable stamp sets: Caped Cuties and Hot Stuff sets.
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY4-B002I made simple note cards. It’s so easy to make!! First I stamped the images onto white paper panel and then coloured the background with Copic markers.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 3

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 3.

Today I am sharing with you the card that I’ve made using a new Caped Cuties stamp set – Oh my, these critters are super cute!!
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY3-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the buildings from Caped Cuties set at the bottom of the watercolour panel in pigment black ink, full moon and stars at the top of the panel as well. 2) Coloured the night sky with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel using a wet paintbrush, spritzed with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist, then added some opaque white ink splatters. 3) Stamped the critters on a separate watercolour paper using pigment black, coloured them with Distress markers and then fussy cut them. 4) Stamped the sentiment “HAVE A SUPER BIRTHDAY!” on black card stock using VersaMark embossing ink and white heat embossed it. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 2

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 2. I am (always!) so happy to be a guest designer at Clearly Besotted!!

Today I want to share with you a couple of floral cards that I’ve made using so beautiful From All of Us stamp set – Yes! It’s a flower stamp set :D
YoonsunHur-20160302-CB-DAY2-A001For my first card, I 1) Stamped the poppies from From All of Us set randomly onto watercolour paper panel using MFT Latte hybrid ink, then loosely coloured them with Antique Linen Distress ink using a wet paintbrush. 2) Stamped the poppy on a separate watercolour paper in pigment black ink, coloured it with Distress markers, then fussy cut it – I used Festive Berries, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn, and Brushed Corduroy Distress markers. 3) Mounted the floral panel on A2 white card base using double-sided tape, then stamped the sentiment in black. 4) Adhered the watercoloured poppy cut to the centre of the card using dimensional foam tape. 5) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins. I stamped the images from From All of Us set onto watercolour paper panel using MFT Gravel Gray hybrid ink, then loosely coloured them with Pumice Stone Distress ink. For the yellow coloured flower, I used Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, and Brushed Corduroy Distress markers.

MFT March Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! It’s Time!! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now! I can’t wait to see what you guys create with them :D

YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-NPL-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped roses from Roses All Over background stamp onto white card base using Gravel Gray hybrid ink (I love this new grey colour!). 2) Die cut Stitched Oval Scallop Frames from pearl white card stock. 3) Die cut butterflies from colour card stocks using Flutter of Butterflies Lace Die-namics. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Kind Thanks set on the stamped base using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Mounted two oval frames and layered butterfly as shown to the stamped base using double-sided tape. 6) Embellished a few PPP clear sequins.
