I watercoloured another fun sketches with the same watercolour medium using a waterbrush, then fussy cut them as well. Next, I ink blended on the top part of an A2 sized white card base with Squeezed Lemonade Distress ink using mini ink blending tool. I mounted all elements as shown to the card using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiments, I used the Summertime Animals stamp set – It was so FUN to make!!

SSS Tropical Leaves

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Today I am just popping in to share my cards with the new SSS Tropical Leaves stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160625-SSS-BothSSS-Tropical-LeavesThis set is loved by so many people! And of course it’s one of my faves among the new SSS Among the Stars release!!
YoonsunHur-20160625-SSS-A001For my first card, I used the emboss resist technique. First, I stamped the leaves from the Tropical Leaves set on the bottom part of an A2 sized watercolour paper panel using VersaMark embossing ink, and then heat embossed them with Hero Arts white embossing powder. Next, I ink blended on the heat embossed panel with Faded Jeans, Mermaid Lagoon, Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn, Cracked Pistachio, Twisted Citron, and Wild Honey Distress inks using mini ink blending tool. I spritzed the ink blended panel with water using a Mini Mister. Once the panel was dry, I added tiny dots using Uni-Ball Pen Gel White. For the sentiment, I used the Uplifting Thoughts stamp set. Finally, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-20160625-SSS-B001Here is another card with the Tropical Leaves stamp set. First, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the SSS Stitches Rectangles die. I then randomly stamped the leaves on it with several blue & green colours of SSS hybrid and dye inks. I coloured the rest areas with Pumice Stone Distress ink using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Uplifting Thoughts set on the centre of the panel using VersaFine Onyx Black, added some black ink splatters. I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Clearly Besotted – You’re sweet!

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share with you a cute card with the Clearly Besotted Sweet Treats stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160625-CBesotted-001CBesotted-SweetTreatsI love these cute critters so I decided to use all of them in my card. First, I 1) Die cut a piece of heavy white card stock using the scallop panel in the MFT Blueprints 27 Die-namics. 2) Stamped the cute images from the Sweet Treats set on the centre of the panel in Memento Desert Sand dye ink – I used Mini MISTI stamping tool. 3) Coloured them with Copic sketch markers – I did no line copic colouring technique. 4) Marked eyes, nose, mouth, fingers, and toes of each critters using Black Copic Multiliner. 4) Stamped the sentiments on a separate white card stock in black ink, then fussy cut them as small rectangle banners instead of speech bubbles. 5) Mounted the coloured panel on an A2 sized SSS Sunshine card base using dimensional foam tape first, and then added the sentiment banners on top of the card using foam tape as well.

MFT Color Challenge 48

Hello crafty friends, welcome to My Favorite Things Color Challenge 48.
MFT-ColorChallenge-48For my card today, I used Wild Wisteria, Blu Raspberry, and Sour Apple – I particularly love this colour combination in the summer!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160623-MFTCC48-001To create this card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 2) Stamped the flowers and leaves from the Large Desert Bouquet & Desert Bouquet sets randomly on watercolour paper panel in Wild Wisteria, Blu Raspberry, and Sour Apple hybrid inks – I used Mini MISTI stamping tool for crisp clean stamping. 3) Ink blended over the stamped panel with the same colours using mini ink blending tool, then added some pearl white ink splatters. 4) Die cut the word “Thanks” from white card stock using the Twice the Thanks Die-namics five times, then glued them together using fine tip glue pen. 5) Mounted the stamped panel on an A2 sized white card base using dimensional foam tape first, and then adhered the sentiment die cut on the bottom right corner of the card using fine tip glue pen. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

SSS Mosaic Star and Heart

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Today I want to share with you a couple cards that I’ve made using the new SSS Mosaic Star & Mosaic Heart dies.
YoonsunHur-20160623-SSS-BothYoonsunHur-SSS-Products
YoonsunHur-20160623-SSS-A002To create this card, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the 5 x 3.75″ rectangle die in the new Basic Rectangles dies first. I then die cut the Mosaic Star from the white paper panel. Next, I ink blended on an A2 sized white card base with Mermaid Lagoon, Twisted Citron, Cracked Pistachio, Faded Jeans Distress inks using mini ink blending tool, then added some water droplets. Once the ink blended base was dry, I mounted the star shaped die cut panel on it using dimensional foam tape. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the new Shine On set on black card stock in white. To finish it off, I embellished with a few star wood veneers.
YoonsunHur-20160623-SSS-A001
YoonsunHur-20160623-SSS-B001For my second card today, I used the Mosaic Heart die as my main supply. I made it the same way but used the different colours for ink blending: Picked Raspberry, Festive Berries, Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, and Wild Honey Distress inks. For the sentiment, I used the Uplifting Thoughts stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160623-SSS-B002That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!!
