Altenew September Release Blog Hop

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!!
Welcome to the Altenew September Product Release Blog Hop! You should have arrived from so amazing Lilith Eeckels!
altenew-sept2016-bannerWe are releasing 15 dies, 12 new inks, 36 re-inkers, two glitter tapes in September and my cards feature the Everything Will Be Okay die and some new dye inks.

yoonsunhur-20160919-altenew-a001For my first card, I used the Everything Will Be Okay die as my main supply. I die cut it from white card stock, and then overlaid it with gold heat embossing. For my background panel, I stamped the flowers and leaves from the Brush Art Floral set on an A2 sized white paper panel with some new dye inks: (Flowers) Puffy Heart, Purple Wine, and Cosmic Berry / (Leaves) Volcano Lake and Lagoon. I added some metallic gold ink splatters. Lastly, I mounted all elements as shown to A2 top folded white card base using double-sided tape.

yoonsunhur-20160919-altenew-b001For my second card, I made a one-layer CAS card with the teal colours!! I randomly stamped the flowers from the Peony Bouquet set on an A2 sized white paper panel using Mountain Mist and Lagoon (darker) dye inks. I then stamped some tiny dots from the Striped Florals set between flower images using Emerald dye ink. For the sentiment, I used the Beautiful Quotes stamp set.

SSS Happiness is contagious

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
Today I have a fun card to share with you using the SSS STAMPtember® Critter Costume Party stamp set & dies.
yoonsunhur-20160919-sss-001For today’s card, I was totally inspired by my amazingly talented friend May‘s adorable card (Click HERE). To start, I stamped the adorable critters from the Critter Costume Party set on watercolour paper using VersaFine onyx black pigment ink, watercoloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the circle window panel, I die cut circles from an A2 sized white paper panel using Stitches Circles dies, and then ink blended behind the circles with Distress inks using mini round blending tool: (Red) Festive Berries & Fired Brick / (Yellow) Mustard Seed & Wild Honey / (Blue) Tumbled Glass & Peacock Feathers. For the sentiment, I used the Uplifting Thoughts stamp set.

Shimmerz Paints – Beautiful Poppies

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
I am guest designing with Shimmerz Paints from this month. It’s always good to try out something new!!

yoonsunhur-20160914-spaints-007I have 15 Inklingz Shimmering Watercolors: (Fun in the Sun Set) Precious Posey, Can’t Elope, Bahama Mama, She Packs a Punch, Honey Do List, Blue Lagoon / (Vintage Set) Olive U Truly, Mochachino, Honeymoon, A Rose, Dear John Letter, Ginger Snapped / Naughty or Nice, The Holly & The Ivy, Coral Reef.

And here is my very first project with them:
yoonsunhur-20160914-spaints-001To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using SSS Basic Rectangles Die. 2) Stamped the poppies from the MFT Delicate Pretty Poppies set on the panel using Memento Dye Ink Desert Sand. 3) Coloured the poppies with Inklingz Naughty or Nice (red), The Holly & The Ivy, Honey Do List, and Olive U Truly Shimmering Watercolors. 4) Coloured the background with Inklingz Can’t Elope Shimmering Watercolors. 5) Mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then add the sentiment banner using foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

SSS Thankful For You

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
I am really enjoying seeing all the fabulous projects with the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® products, are you?!!

Today I have a card to share with you using the Hydrangea Blooms Stamp Set, Abstract Triangles Background Stamp along with the Thankful Die.
yoonsunhur-20160913-sss-001To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolor paper using A2 sized Basic Rectangles Die. 2) Ink blended the watercolor paper panel with Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans, and Tea Dye Distress inks using mini round blending tool. 3) Applied the Abstract Triangles Background with clean water, and then stamped it on the ink blended panel – Distress ink react with water! 4) Stamp the hydrangeas from the Hydrangea Blooms set on the panel with VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. 5) Stamp “for you” sentiment from the Lovely Spring set using VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. 6) Mount the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape. 7) Adhered the word “thankful” die cut on the card front using foam tape. 8) Embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.

MFT September Release Replay

We love the opportunity to look at our products with fresh eyes, envisioning entirely new ways to showcase the possibilities they present. We can’t wait to share our ideas with you!

I have a fun Christmas card to share with you today using the Llama Love stamp set.
yoonsunhur-20160913-mftrr-001To create the card, I 1) Stamped the llama and pack roll from the Llama Love set on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 2) Coloured them with Peerless watercolors. 3) Die cut them with the Llama Love Die-namics. 4) Decorated the llama with red & white bakers twine and silver jingle bell. 5) Stamped the sentiment from the Gift Tag Greetings set on the Kraft card base using Black Licorice hybrid ink. 6) Adhered all die cuts as shown to the Kraft card base using foam tape.
