Merry Christmas Filigree

Hello folks! Today I want to share my 3rd Christmas card with Hero Arts stamps with you! I love Hero Arts 2014 Christmas stamp sets so much. Those stamp sets make me think of watercolouring. Don’t you think?!

HeroArtsHolidayChallengeAnyway, I’m entering this card in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge: Anything Goes holiday cards and projects!

Here is my first card:
20141013-01-ENFirst I heat embossed Hero Arts Merry Christmas Filigree Stamp on the watercolour paper in white. I then coloured around the stamped sentiment using my Peerless watercolours! To finish it off I added white & gold ink splatters to the background and sentiment area.

My second card is watercolour card as well:
20141013-03-ENI made Christmas tree shape card. I think it could be used not only card but also hanging ornament on a Christmas tree :D

I die-cut onto the watercolour paper using Sizzix Trees Christmas die and heat embossed Hero Arts Merry Christmas Filigree Stamp in white. I then blended Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves distress inks using an ink blending tool. I then layered Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil over the panel and applied white embossing paste. To finish it off I spritzed it with water and added some white ink splatters onto the tree shaped panel for having a snowy winter in my card even though I can’t get a white Christmas in Sydney…lol!

Hello folks! I want to show you my Peerless watercolour card today and I am entering this card in the Studio Calico WCMD challenge :D

Beautiful Brushstrokes

Hello folks, happy Monday in Australia!!

Today I want to show you another – my endless love – watercolour card with Papertrey ink Beautiful Brushstrokes stamp set :D

Here is what I came up with:
20140728-01I really.. really.. really love this stamp set. Just GORGEOUS!! There are no other words that I need to explain about it! (Many of you already know)

For this, I inked on the flower and leaf stamps using distress inks and spritzed with water at first. I then stamped onto the watercolour paper. After that, I spritzed Mr. Huey’s Color Mists Desert on the white space and affixed black & white swiss dot washi tape for finishing touch.

Is the weather getting hot, hot, hot? I am so cold, cold, cold in Australia ;( I wish summer would come soon!

Today, I want to show you my rainbow ombre card with gorgeous Hero Arts Three Artistic Butterflies stamps. These new butterfly stamps are literally Artistic! So gorgeous!!

Today I want to show you my third challenge card in Runway Inspired Challenge LOL!!

Logoric64-BottegaVenetaric#64 – Bottega Veneta (Isn’t it gorgeous? as always!!!)

Here is what I came up with:

For this card, I chose 3 awesome stamp sets. First was Simon Says Stamp Best Mom Ever for roses, second was Paper Smooches Botanicals 2 and the last was Simply Fabulous Sayings MFT Stamps for sentiment. They are all really AWESOME STAMP SETS!

20140718-ric64-02I made light grey panel with Distress Ink Weathered Wood at first. I then stamped roses and leaves using VersaFine Pigment ink Onyx Black. Next step was… watercolouring! Yay!! :D I used several Distress inks for watercolouring as usual but, used white roses using acrylic paint for standing out in bold relief. I spritzed Tsukineko Shimmer Spritz Frost on the floral surface for finishing touch.
