nature-challenge
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150320-01Some of my crafty friends may know that I love watercolouring and flowers!! Hero Arts Flower Garden Stamp set is so very beautiful and I couldn’t resist making card with watercolours! I love subtle watercolouring technique as much as no-line colouring.

To create the card, 1)I positioned flower stamps upper side of the watercolour panel and mounted the entire design on a large stamp press. 2)I stamped them using VersaMark Embossing ink and white heat embossed. I repeated it bottom side of the panel. 3)I applied clean water the embossed panel using a wide brush first and then coloured around the embossed images with Distress ink Picked Raspberry, Dried MarigoldSqueezed Lemonade, and Mustard Seed. 4)For the sentiment, I stamped it from Hero Arts Night and Day Flowers using VersaMark Embossing ink and gold heat embossed. 5)I added Zig wink of Stella clear over the coloured panel. 6)Mixed clear sequins were the finishing touches.

SSS Hop To It – Easter card

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
On this weekend, I want to share with you my Easter themed cards using SSS Hop To It Artful Flowers Stamp Set.

My first card here:
YoonsunHur-20150314-SSSHopToIt01I love every Hop To It product but especially, the crosses. SSS Cross dies are not fancy. It captures the Cross exactly how it looks like. But I believe, that is what makes the cross look more graceful and beautiful!

For my first card, I was inspired by fabulous Debby‘s amazingly beautiful card with Artful flower stamp set. 1)I stamped Artful Flowers on the watercolour paper panel using VersaMark Embossing Ink Pad and white heat embossed. I used some post-it notes to mask the flower images to stamp them overlapping. 2)I coloured the flowers with Distress markers as always :D –Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, Scattered Straw, Mustard Seed, and Dried Marigold. 3)I die cut a cross -largest one- from my coloured panel and lifted it up with a dimensional foam tape. 4)Some clear sequins were the finishing touches.

My second card here:YoonsunHur-20150314-SSSHopToIt04It was the same way with my cross card but, ‘Easter’ word at the centre of the flowers instead of a cross.

Christmas Sweater

TGIFriday! Today I want to show two different ways to use 1 background stamp cards.

First card: Using emboss resist technique. 20141031-01I stamped the background with the Stampendous Christmas Sweater Square Stamp and then heat embossed it in white (Ranger Seaform White) and covered it with red coloured distress inks.

Second card: Watercolor Background Stamping 20141031-02First I inked the Stampendous Christmas Sweater Square Stamp using several distress inks – Fired Brick, Festive Berries, Picked Raspberry, Tea Dye – and then spritzed the inked background stamp with water. I then laid the watercolour paper panel on top of the inked background stamp.

Here is a detailed view: 20141031-03 20141031-04

The Card Concept #22 – ThankFall

Happy Wednesday everyone! Are you still enjoying the lovely autumn weather? Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept! Check out the beautiful inspiration picture below:
IP-22So lovely! isn’t it? I love those rustic fall colours!!

And… here is what I came up with:
20141029-01

From this challenge, I can pick any of those 6 different styles as part of the wild card team and I chose ‘Freestyle Collage‘. Well… it could be called CAS card but… Hmm… Anyway, I made watercolour card :D

To create my card, I used second generation stamping technique. Second generation stamping is a great way to watercolour painting. For sentiment I heat embossed on the black cardstock in white and cut using banner die among Sweet Havana Die Cuts and then adhered it to the rustic vase image using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I spritzed Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Calico Shine around the flower vase.

20141029-02Ohhhh.. I love Mama Elephant Sweet Havana Stamp Set and watercolouring! I was inspired by Nichol Magouirk‘s beautiful watercolour cards :D

Thank you so much for stopping by and Have a wonderful day!!
