I am just popping in to share my simple watercolour cards with some SSS exclusive products.
Watercolour stripes seem to be one of pattern trends that never goes away. I love to make my own watercolour stripes behind the large sized script sentiment! I think watercolour stripes make the focal point shine, always!!
For the yellow watercolour stripes, I used the No. 43 Mid Yellow of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. Once the panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Oh Happy Day set in the SSS Masterpiece Box on the centre of the panel in pigment black, then added flowers around the sentiment areas.
Here is another card that I made the same way! I painted the stripes on watercolour paper panel using No. 34 Dark Pink of Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment from the Look For The Miracles set on it in black pigment ink. Then I added stamped flowers using double-sided tape.

For my card today, I made a watercolour flower card with the MFT Grand Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set – Watercolour is definitely my most favourite painting medium!! I heat embossed the flowers from the set on cold press watercolour paper panel in white, then loosely coloured around the flowers with Distress inks using a wet paint brush. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the MFT Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock in white, then cut the small banner. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using dimensional foam tape.
