Shimmerz Paints – Truly Grateful

Hello crafty friends!
I’m up on the Shimmerz Paints blog today with my autumn-themed card using some Inklingz Shimmering Watercolors. For today’s card, I tried to stamp solid autumn leaf images instead of colouring.
yoonsunhur-20160921-spaints-001To start, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using SSS Basic Rectangles die. Next, I coloured directly on the solid autumn leaf images from the Penny Black Nature’s Gifts set using some Inklingz shimmering watercolors: Honey Do List, Olive U Truly, Mochachino, Can’t Elope, She Packs a Punch, Naughty or Nice, and Dear John Letter. I then stamped the image on the watercolor paper panel. Once the panel was completely dry, I stamped the sentiment from the MFT Geometric Greenery set on the bottom half of the panel using VersaFine onyx black ink. Lastly, I mounted the panel on A2 top folded white card base using double-sided tape.

Card Stock: Sour Apple (2), Cornflower (2), Tropical Teal (2), Blue Breeze (2), Smooth White (3), Silver Sparkle (1), Cornflower Sparkle (1), Sour Apple Sparkle (1)

New Mid Month Free with $60 Die-namics
The mid month Free with $60 die is the Merry Christmas Die-namics. It coordinates with the kit and anyone who orders the kit this month will receive the Free with $60.

Here is what I came up with:
yoonsunhur-20160920-mftcardkit-a001For my first card, I used the emboss resist technique, definitely one of my favourite techniques, with the Simply Snowflakes stamp set. I heat embossed the snowflakes on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in white, ink blended the panel with Peacock Feathers, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans, and Twisted Citron Distress inks using mini round blending tool, then added water using a wet paint brush. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Snowfall of Blessings set on the bottom of the panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink. Once the panel was completely dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape.
yoonsunhur-20160920-mftcardkit-a002
yoonsunhur-20160920-mftcardkit-b001For my second card, I made a shaker card. To start, I die cut the arch window from the stitched white paper panel using the Stitched Arch STAX Die-namics. I then randomly stamped the snowflakes from the Simply Snowflakes set on the window panel using blue and green colours of hybrid ink: Lush Lagoon, Sour Apple, Blu RaspberryLimeade, and Blue Yonder. For the sentiment, I used the Peaceful Words Die-namics in the kit.
