PPP July Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh July 2017 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Crystal Thompson’s blog you are on the right track.
I have two summer-themed cards to share with you today using the new Summer Friends stamp set along with other PPP products – I think some of you might already see these cards on the PPP blog before.
I started by stamping sandcastle, beach ball, bucket from the Summer Friends set on watercolour paper in black pigment ink. I then watercoloured them with Distress markers, die cut them with the Summer Friends coordinating dies. For the beach scene, I created clouds using the Stitched Borders 2 dies (I used the scallop border die as a stencil), sandy beach using Distress markers, then trimmed the paper down using stitched rectangle panel die in the Stitched Notes die set. For the sentiment, I used the Summer Friends and the Camping Friends stamp sets. I mounted the background panel on pale blue card base using double-sided tape first, and then added images on it using foam tape.
For my second card, I stamped all images from the Summer Friends set on watercolour paper in pigment black ink, then coloured them with Distress markers. Once the panel was completely dry, I die cut it with an A2 sized rectangle panel die. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it on blue card stock in white, then cut the small banner. I mounted the watercoloured panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner on the bottom right corner of the card front using foam tape.

There are 4 $25 gift certificates up for grabs (two winners each day). Winners will be picked randomly along the blog hop. Comments must be left by 11:59 PM PST on 7/18/2017. Winners will be announced on the PPP blog.

Flora Fauna Hello My Friend

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!!
Today I want to share with you a couple of CAS cards that I’ve made using the newly released Flora & Fauna Wildflower Seeds and Snail Mail stamp sets along with Texture stamp set. I really L.O.V.E these adorable and unique designs!!

Here is what I came up with:
I started by creating my own rainbow brush stroke background with the Texture stamp set. I repeatedly stamped a brush stroke image on white paper panel using some dye inks and hybrid inks: (from the top) Hero Arts Neon Red, Hero Arts Butter Bar, SSS Jellybean, SSS Deep Sea, SSS Velvet Orchid. Once the panel was dry, I stamped leaves, butterfly, sentiment from the Wildflower Seeds set on it with VersaFine Onyx Black. I mounted the panel on white card base using double-sided tape, and then added white drops using Tonic Simply White Nuvo Crystal Drops.

For my second card, I made a simple watercolour card (I am very satisfied with the results!!). I simply stamped the mini forest scene from the Snail Mail set on watercolour panel in pigment black ink, lightly coloured the background with colour pencils, then brushed with water brush.

SSS Funny Food

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share with you a couple of fun watercolour cards that I’ve made using the SSS Funny Food stamp & coordinating die set.

I started by stamping adorable donuts from the Funny Food set on watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black, coloured them with Distress markers (Fossilized AmberAbandoned CoralBrushed Corduroy) and water brush, and then die cut them with the matching die. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it on Lipstick Red card stock in white, and then trimmed it down using the fishtail stitched banner die. For the background, I randomly stamped donuts on an A2 sized white paper panel using Fog Gray dye ink, lightly coloured them with Copic markers. I mounted the background panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added sentiment banner & donuts on it using foam tape. I then added some drops using Nuvo Jewel Drops.

My second card is “Pizza” card. :D I used the same way as the first card. It is sooooo fun!!

Altenew Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus Release + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
We are already passing through the middle of this month, and that means it’s time for another beautiful Build-A-Flower set! This month it’s Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus – It’s only available as a set, not individual product.

I started by creating striped background with the Watercolor Stripes stencil. I laid the stencil over watercolour paper panel and then inked with Pumice Stone Distress ink. Next, I stamped layered ranunculus from the Build-A-Flower: Ranunculus set using some Distress and dye inks:
Flower: Scattered Straw (Base), Fossilized Amber (Accent) Distress inks
Leaves: Frayed Leaf (Base), Forest Glades (Accent) Dye inks
I then die cut them with the matching dies. Once the background panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, stamped the sentiment in black pigment ink, then added the ranunculus using foam tape.

For my second card, I stamped outlined flowers & leaves on watercolour paper in black pigment ink, and then coloured them with Distress inks and markers.
Please visit and leave a comment on the Altenew blog for a chance to win one of THREE $30 gift certificates!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
