SSS STAMPtember: PPP Damask Greetings

Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
Today I want to share with you my damask Christmas card with the SSS & Pretty Pink Posh STAMPtember Damask Greetings stamp set.
These damask designs are simple yet elegant and appropriate for CAS Christmas cards!

To create this card, I 1) Drew grid lines on watercolour paper panel using a pencil. 2) Stamped damask images from the Damask Greetings set with some Distress inks: Mermaid Lagoon, Crushed Olive, Faded Jeans, Peacock Feathers, Evergreen Bough, Wild Honey. 3) Brushed the stamped images lightly using a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water! 4) Die cut the word “Joy” from metallic white card stock using the Big Joy die five times, and then stacked them up using fine tip glue pen. 5) Mounted the damask background panel on top-folded Fog Gray card base using foam tape, added the sentiment die cut on the card front using foam tape as well.
I tried to create a clean and simple Christmas card. :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

PPP September Product Release Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!!
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh September 2017 Product Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from the Shannon McComb’s blog you are on the right track.

For my first card, I used brand new Autumn Blooms stamp set along with the Thoughtful Greetings sentiment stamp set. The Autumn Blooms set contains small flower & leaf images but we can create a bigger flowers with this set!
I started by stamping small flowers (from the Autumn Blooms set) onto the watercolour panel randomly using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I then freely painted a circle around the middle of each flower using Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Scattered Straw Distress inks and a wet paint brush. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I stamped leaves (from the Autumn Blooms set) between the flowers, and then coloured them with Mowed Lawn Distress ink and water brush. I added some red & yellow ink splatters as well. It’s not difficult is it?
For the sentiment, I used the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set. I heat embossed the “thank you” sentiment on black card stock in white, trimmed it down, and then put it up on the watercoloured floral panel using foam tape.

For my second card, I used the Stitched Foliage dies and the Angel Friends stamp & die set along with the Giving Thanks stamp set.
I die cut the stitched leaves from watercolour paper using the Stitched Foliage dies, adhered them on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel using glue pen. I then ink blended on it with Spiced Marmalade, Crushed Olive, Wild Honey, Victorian Velvet Distress inks and mini ink blending tool. I roughly brushed the inked leaves with a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added white ink splatters and a few 3mm clear sequins.
For those adorable angels, I stamped them (from the Angel Friends set) on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink, coloured them with Copic markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the sentiment, I used the Giving Thanks stamp set.

For my last card, I used the Angel Friends stamp & die set along with the Winter Wonderland set. Yay! I love Christmas card!!
I heat embossed snowflakes (from the Winter Wonderland set) on watercolour panel in white, and then made a snowy night scene using Peerless watercolors and a wet paint brush. Of course, I added white ink splatters and clear sequins!
I watercoloured all adorable images – angels, eskimo girl, polar bear, igloo – with Peerless watercolors.

Flora & Fauna: Winter Aviary

Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Today I want to share with you my first two Christmas cards for the holiday season this year using the Flora & Fauna Winter Aviary stamp set. I love this set so much!!

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping cute birds and branches from the Winter Aviary set on an A2 sized watercolour panel in VersaFine Onyx Black. I then watercoloured the scene with Distress markers and water brush. I coloured the background with Tumbled Glass Distress ink. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right corner of the panel in black pigment ink (It is coated with Glossy Accents).

For my second card, I repeatedly stamped the images and coloured them with Distress markers.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

I started by stamping beautiful flowers & leaves from the Altenew Hibiscus Bouquet set on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I used Post-It Notes for masking images. I then loosely coloured the stamped images with Distress inks and a wet paint brush:
(Large flowers) Picked Raspberry, (Small flowers) Wild Honey
(Leaves) Crushed Olive, (Background) Tattered Rose
I added some ink splatters as well. Once the panel was dry, I stamped the sentiment with VersaFine Onyx Black, and then mounted the panel on white card base using the Altenew glue tape. To finish it off, I added water drops using Glossy Accents.

SSS STAMPtember® 2017 Blog Hop + Giveaway

Hello crafty friends! Happy STAMPtember®!!
It’s September, my favourite time of year, and I am SUPER excited to be a part of the first day of the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® Blog Hop today!!

For my first two cards, I used the brand new You Got This stamp set & Damask stencil along with other SSS products.
To create this card, I laid the Damask stencil over the watercolour panel, and then inked over the stencil using some Distress inks and sponge daubers in rainbow order: (from the top left corner) Festive Berries, Scattered Straw, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, and Victorian Velvet. I then freely brushed on the panel with a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water!! I added water drops and opaque white ink splatters all over the panel. Once the panel was dry, I heat embossed the edges of the panel with gold. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the You Got This set on black card stock in white, and then die cut it with the Stitched Banner die. I mounted the background panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner, vellum butterflies (I used the Butterfly Drift die), gold sequins, clear droplets.
“You are strong and God is stronger, together you are unstoppable.” – I love this sentiment so much!!

For my second card, I created my own damask patterns on soft navy card base using the Damask stencil and white embossing paste. I die cut nearly half of the soft navy panel using the Wavy Scallop Stitches die. I then applied the damask pattern on the soft navy panel using white embossing paste. Once the panel was dry, I added some metallic silver & opaque white ink splatters. For the sentiment, I heat embossed it from the You Got This set on red card stock in white, and then trimmed it down as a small banner. I mounted the background panel on top-folded white card base using foam tape first, and then added the sentiment banner & gold sequins.

For my last card, I used the new Amazing Messages stamp set along with the Tickle Breeze die. I die cut the Tickle Breeze from an A2 sized watercolour panel, and then added rainbow colours using Distress inks and a wet paint brush: Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans, and Seedless Preserves. I added water drops. Next, I stamped the image from the Amazing Messages set on white card stock using Onyx Black pigment ink, lightly coloured inside the alphabets with watercoloured pencils, then fussy cut it. For other words, I heat embossed them on black card stock in white. Once the background panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using foam tape first, and then added all elements as shown to the card front using foam tape as well.
