SSS Beautiful feathers

Hello crafty friends, today is the last day of August, time really flies! Before we start celebrating STAMPtember®, I just wanna share a couple of my watercoloured feather cards with you using so beautiful Earth Has Music stamp set.
Here is what I came up with:
I used the smallest floral feather among 4 beautiful feather images in the Earth Has Music stamp set. I randomly stamped feathers on watercolour paper panel using Altenew Sand Dunes dye ink first, and then loosely coloured all stamped feathers with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel. I added ink splatters all over the panel to make more messy!
I am so happy with the result! :D

Here is another messy watercolour card! I heat embossed feathers in white, freely watercoloured the panel, and then added white ink splatters. It looks like it’s snowing. :)

You know what?! The Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember® will begin from tomorrow, September 1st!! We make and share lots and lots of fabulous projects for a whole month. See you soon!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

SSS Best Day Ever

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share a couple of watercoloured cards with you using two of awesome background stamps from Simon – Center Cut Kaleidoscope and Center Cut Star.

For my first card, I used the Center Cut Kaleidoscope background stamp and the Best Day Ever die as my main supply. I heat embossed Center Cut Kaleidoscope (I took out the middle part of the stamp) on watercolour paper using WOW! Embossing Powder Opaque Vanilla White, and then trimmed it down using the Basic Rectangle Panel die. Next, I watercoloured the stamped panel with Pinkfresh Studio Liquid Watercolors.
I die cut the word “Best day ever” from metallic gold paper. Once the background panel was completely dry, I mounted it on Schoolhouse Red card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment die cuts on the centre of the card front using foam tape.

For my second card, I used the Center Cut Star background stamp and the Miss You die as my main supply. I repeatedly heat embossed Center Cut Star ( I only used central part of the stamp) on watercolour paper panel in white, and then inked each of the stamped star using some Distress inks: Candied Apple, Mermaid Lagoon, Fossilized Amber, Seedless Preserves, Crushed Olive, Victorian Velvet. I brushed the inked panel using a wet paint brush.

SSS You make life beautiful

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Today I want to share with you my floral card with some Simon Says Stamp products: Bold Flowers, Plantiful Puns, You Got This, and Pebbles die.
I started by stamping flowers & leaves from the Bold Flowers set onto watercolour paper using Altenew Sand Dunes dye ink – I used light coloured dye ink to stamp solid images, and then added watercolours to them. I also stamped pot from the Plantiful Puns set, coloured it with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel, and then fussy cut it.
I die cut Pebbles from watercolour paper panel, adhered the earthy brown watercolour panel behind the Pebbles. I stamped the sentiment from the You Got This set right above the pebbles in black. I mounted the watercoloured pebbles panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the flower pot on the right bottom side of the card using foam tape.

Here is a closer look:
YOU MAKE LIFE BEAUTIFUL!”

I die cut curtains from watercolour paper using the Take the Stage Die-namics, coloured them with Candied Apple & Fired Brick Distress inks.
