SSS Peace

Hello crafty friends!
Today I have another Christmas card trio with the SSS Geometric Christmas Tree & CZ Design Peace Dies.

The Geometric Christmas Tree is so unique and stylish. I love it!!

I started by die cutting the Geometric Christmas Tree from white & assorted glitter cardstock – I used SSS White cardstock for outlined tree, and ETC glitter papers for all negative pieces. After die cutting, I applied double-sided tape to the back of outlined tree die cut, and inlaid all glitter pieces in place. Glitter papers and Christmas cards are a perfect pair, right?!!

To decorate the Geometric Christmas Tree, I die cut tiny snowflakes from white cardstock using the Stitched Flakes die. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Peace” from white cardstock, shadow from vellum paper, and then glued them together using fine tip glue pen. I applied the Detail Swirls pattern on A2 sized paper panel, mounted it on white card base using Dot Runner Adhesive, and then added all elements as shown in the picture.

Here is my second “Peace” Christmas card. I die cut the Geometric Christmas Tree, Peace sentiment and tiny snowflakes from white cardstock same as my first card. For my own background, I freely spritzed Altenew Metallic Shimmer Sea Glass & Frayed Leaf ink sprays onto the Detail Swirls pattern panel. I then simply added white tree & sentiment die cuts as shown in the picture.

My last card today, I just wanted to express a peaceful snowy winter night. I die cut the A2 sized rectangle panel from Soft Navy cardstock using the Basic Rectangles die first, and then spritzed Altenew Pure White ink spray on the top part of the panel.

Once the snowy night base was dry, I added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape.

SSS Merry & Joy

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share my leafy Christmas card trio with some SSS Christmas products. I really like making winter holiday cards. You like it too, right?!! :D

For my first card, I used the Leafy Branch & CZ Design Merry dies along with the Crystal Distortion Embossing Folder. I die cut the Leafy Branch from watercolour paper – I used both positive & negative pieces. I coloured Leafy Branch with some green coloured Distress reinkers. I used Evergreen Bough, Mowed Lawn, Bundled Sage and Gathered Twigs. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Merry” from white cardstock, shadow from Neenah Smooth Desert Storm cardstock, glued them together using fine tip glue pen.

I dry embossed on A2 sized white paper panel using the Crystal Distortion embossing folder, mounted it on white card base using dot runner adhesive, and then added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape.

For my second leafy Christmas card, I made a watercolour card with the Be Kind stamp set.

I stamped leaves onto A2 sized watercolour paper panel using Bundled Sage Distress ink first, and then coloured all stamped images with Evergreen Bough & Mowed Lawn Distress inks. I just added red berries & tiny dots between leaves using Festive Berries Distress ink.

For the sentiment, I used the word “Merry” in the Holiday Sparkle Greetings stamp set.

For my last leafy wreath card, I used the Christmas Foliage die set. I die cut 6 leaves from watercolour paper, 5 sprigs from white cardstock first. I watercoloured 6 leaves with Evergreen Bough & Mowed Lawn Distress reinkers. Once watercoloured leaves were dry, I made a wreath with 6 leaves & 5 sprigs.

For the sentiment, I used the CZ Design Joy Script dies.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great weekend!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Happy World Card Making Day!

Hello crafty friends, happy World Card Making Day!
Today is a DAY to celebrate handmade card making and it’s also a great time to share Christmas cards! Woohoo!!

I want to share my kraft Christmas card trio with some SSS Christmas products. I did distressing on edges, added lots of white ink splatters & glitters on my today’s cards because it is Christmas card, right?!! Oh, and I used the Holiday Knit Border die & Holiday Sparkle Greetings set as my main supplies.

I started by die cutting the Wonky Rectangle panel from Neenah Smooth Desert Storm cardstock. I then die cut the Holiday Knit Border at the bottom part of the kraft panel. I distressed on edges of the panel using Tim Holtz Paper Distresser, and then lightly ink blended it with Tea Dye Distress ink. For the main sentiment, I heat embossed the word “Merry” in the Holiday Sparkle Greetings stamp set on Desert Storm cardstock in white, die cut it with matching die. For the black sentiment banner, I used the Sentiment Strips Slimline Christmas.

I mounted the Holiday Knit Border panel on the same Neenah Smooth Desert Storm card base using foam tape, added opaque white ink splatters, and then added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape. The large snowflake is the Eliza Snowflake, and two tiny snowflakes that I used the Stitched Flakes die. I never forgot adding white enamel dots using Nuvo Simply White Crystal Drops. ;)

For my second kraft Christmas card, I die cut diagonally the Holiday Knit Border at the bottom part of the kraft panel. I then used the word “Peace” in the Holiday Sparkle Greetings stamp set, added two adorable birds & snowflakes.

For these birds, I stamped them from the Spring Birds set on watercolour paper using VersaFine Vintage Sepia pigment ink, lightly watercoloured them using red & green Distress inks, then die cut them with the matching dies.

For the last card today, I made “Joy” Christmas card. I die cut vertically the Holiday Knit Border at the right part of the kraft panel, then added the sentiment “Joy”, Christmas foliage and tiny snowflakes.

I CAN’T WAIT TO SEE what you’re making!!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a happy World Card Making Day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Winter Holiday Card – Joy

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
October is so soon, this means it’s the month we start making Christmas cards (many of us are already making though). I will also make and share as many Christmas cards as time permits.

Today I have a couple of winter holiday cards with non Christmas products, lol!

For my first card, I used the Concord & 9th Harvest Wreath set – it’s of course autumn-themed product but with red, green and gold on white, we can make Christmas cards as much as we want, right?!!

I started by stamping Christmas wreath from the C9 Harvest Wreath Turnabout set on white cardstock using C9 Cranberry, Parsley and Clover dye inks. I then cut the outer part of the wreath. I die cut some leaves & berries from white cardstock using the C9 Harvest Wreath die set as well. I mounted the leafy Christmas wreath on the centre of the card using foam tape first, and then added white leafy wreath as shown in the picture. I also added metallic gold ink splatters using Altenew Gold Pearl Metallic Watercolor.

I die cut the word “Joy” from metallic gold cardstock using the SSS CZ Design Joy Script die, then added it on the card.

Here is another “Joy” Christmas card with the Altenew Mini Flower Cluster Layering die set. With this non Christmas product, I used only red & green cardstock.

At first, I die cut flower petals from red & white cardstock. I used SSS Mega Thick White for the base layer, SSS Schoolhouse Red for the second layer and SSS Lipstick Red for the top layer. I then used green cardstock to die cut several leaves. I used C9 Evergreen & C9 Clover for the base layer, SSS Green Apple for the top layer. After die cutting, I adhered the pieces all together using ZIG fine tip glue pen.

I mounted floral wreath on the centre of the A2 sized white card base using foam tape, added metallic gold “Joy” sentiment, jingle bells and opaque white ink splatters.

How about making Christmas cards with your non Christmas products today? I’m sure it’ll be fun! :D

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
