SSS Sweet friends forever

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Today I am just popping in to show you the simple watercolour card that I’ve made using SSS Stacking Animals stamp set.
YoonsunHur-20160215-SSS-001To create the card, I 1) Stamped the sentiment from How We Roll set onto watercolour paper panel in pigment black, then stamped the animals from Stacking Animals set around the sentiment as well. 2) Coloured them with Derwent inktense colored pencils. 3) Stamped the hearts from Prayers set around the coloured animals using Hero Arts Neon Red. 4) Mounted the panel on A2 size white card base using 3M Scotch double-sided foam tape.

SSS Pink Valentine’s Day cards

Hello crafty friends, I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
Today I am just popping in to show you my simple Valentine’s Day cards with beautiful SSS Heart Breeze and Heart Banner dies.
YoonsunHur-20160208-SSS-001Valentine’s Day is known all over the world as an opportunity to celebrate love. Hearts on pink, it’s kind of old-fashioned, but there’s nothing better for the Valentine’s Day cards :D

YoonsunHur-20160208-SSS-002To create the card, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Stitches Squares die, blended on it with Spun Sugar and Picked Raspberry Distress inks using mini blending tool and then brushed it with a bit of water using a paint brush. I die cut Heart Breeze at the bottom of the inked panel – I really like Heart Breeze die, it’s so pretty!! – and then spritzed on it with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist. For the sentiment, I stamped the word “LOVE” from Big U Words set on the Lipstick Red card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. Finally, I mounted all elements as shown to white square card base using a dimensional foam tape.
YoonsunHur-20160208-SSS-003For my second card, I used inlaid die cut technique with Heart Banner die. I die cut heart banners at the bottom half of the watercoloured paper panel – I took out the coloured heart shape outlines and replaced white outlined banners. For the sentiment, I stamped “TO YOU” from Big Add Ons set in VersaFine Onyx Black. It’s so easy to make!!

That’s it for today. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

YoonsunHur-20160205-SSS-002
YoonsunHur-20160205-SSS-004To create the card, I 1) Die cut the word “U” from mask paper using Big U Dies, then placed the mask die cut on the Stitches Rectangle panel. 2) Stamped the flowers and leaves, Flowers On My Mind and Lovely Spring sets, on masked areas in Altenew dye inks.
YoonsunHur-20160205-SSS-005 3) Removed the mask gently and then dry the stamped image using heat gun.
YoonsunHur-20160205-SSS-0064) Added outlines and details to the flowers and leaves using a Copic multiliner.

YoonsunHur-20160205-SSS-001I stamped the word “LOVE” from Big U Words set on the floral panel in pigment black. Finally I mounted the panel on Burnt Orange card base using 3M Scotch double-sided foam tape.

SSS Flowers On My Mind

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour flower card with SSS Flowers On My Mind stamp set.
SSS-StampThese flowers are so artistic and bold so I think they are perfect for watercolour cards.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160127-SSS001For my own watercolor floral background, I 1) Inked the flowers and leaves from Flowers On My Mind set using Distress inks: Festive BerriesWild HoneyMowed LawnPeacock Feathers, Rusty Hinge, and Seedless Preserves. 2) Spritzed the inked stamps with water using a Mini Mister. 3) Stamped them onto watercolour paper panel, added opaque white ink splatters. I then made square window at the centre of the watercoloured panel using Stitches Squares die. For the sentiment, I stamped it from Hand Lettered Encouragement set on A2 size white card base in black. I mounted the watercoloured panel over the stamped base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
