Hello crafty friends, happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!!
Today I want to share with you my fun “Flower Cone” card with the Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus & Wild Beauty stamp sets I designed – Spring is now ending and summer is coming already. Meaning that the season of ice cream is coming soon :D
To create this card, I stamped the flowers and leaves from Sketch Ranunculus & Wild Beauty sets on watercolour paper panel using Distress inks, then brushed – just like rubbing – them using Tim Holtz Detailer Waterbrush. I then stamped them on the same place with the same colours of Distress ink once again – I used Festive Berries, Wild Honey, Picked Raspberry, Seedless Preserves, Crushed Olive, Mowed Lawn, and Peacock Feathers Distress inks.
Next, I stamped the cone from Cone Building set on the panel using Rusty Hinge & Gathered Twigs Distress inks. I then roughly coloured the background with Tattered Rose Distress ink – It’s my favourite pink!! Once dry, I mounted the panel along with the sentiment banner on top-folded white card base using dimensional foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
Oh, yummy colourful flower cone, haha ;)
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
