Welcome to the Simon Says Stamp Masterpiece Box Release Blog Hop!!
Masterpiece Box, it’s so special to me! I designed the “Oh Happy Day” stamp set for the box! I am SO honoured to be a part of this splendid event as a stamp designer and a card maker!!!
For my first card, I used the “Oh Happy Day” stamp set I designed. To start, I stamped the sentiment on the centre of an A2 sized watercolour paper panel in VersaFine Pigment Ink Onyx Black. I then stamped the flowers and leaves on it using SSS inks. (All supplies are linked at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used.) I coloured the outlined flowers with Distress markers. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape, then added clear droplets using Ranger Glossy Accents.
I stamped this yellow flower using the NEW SSS Lemon Zing dye ink – This yellow is truly beautiful!!
For my second card, I made a fun card with the Mama Elephant Tiny Ninjas stamp set – they are super cute!!! To start, I made “A city in the dark” scene with Distress ink blending. I heat embossed the city building from the Mama Elephant Central Park set on watercolour paper in white, ink blended it with Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves, and Black Soot Distress inks using mini ink blending tool, then added water droplets and pearl white ink splatters. Next, I stamped the ninjas on white card stock in VersaFine Onyx Black, then fussy cut them. Once the inked panel was dry, I mounted it on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added a stitched rectangle window panel and adorable ninjas using dimensional foam tape.

To start, I placed a circle die on an A2 sized watercolour paper panel, then traced a circle very lightly with a pencil (or mechanical pencil).
