SSS Happy Birthday Cards

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my “Happy Birthday” cards using Big Birthday Greetings & Bold Flowers Stamp Sets.
For my first card, I made a floral birthday card! I die cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangle panel from Cream card stock using the Basic Rectangles die set first. I then stamped flowers & leaves from the Bold Flowers set with some SSS dye inks:
(Flowers) Lipstick Red, Rose Apple, Sunshine
(Leaves) Jellybean, Willow, Mint Candy, Scuba
I trimmed left & right edges down using the Scallop Stitches die.
For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Big Birthday Greetings set with VersaFine Onyx Black.
I added a few clear water droplets using Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops.
I love this sentiment so much!!

Here is another “Happy Birthday” card with the Big Birthday Greetings Stamp Set.
I die cut the Wonky Rectangle Panel from watercolour paper first, and then stamped birthday candles & sentiments on it using VersaFine Onyx Black. I then loosely coloured the stamped candles with Distress inks in rainbow order: Festive Berries, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Faded Jeans and Seedless Preserves.
I die cut the word “Happy” from white card stock using the Big Happy die set.

SSS Ornate Alphabets

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my Ornate “Thank You” & “Miss You” cards using Ornate Alphabet Stamp Set along with Bold Flowers Stamp & Die Set.
I started by heat embossing the word “THANK YU (except “O”)” from the Ornate Alphabet set on white card stock in white. I then ink blended each letter with SSS dye inks & Picket Fence Studios Life Changing Blender Brush – I used Lipstick Red & Willow dye inks. After ink blending, I fussy cut all letters, adhered vellum paper back of each letter, trimmed them down.
I stamped flower & leaves from the Bold Flowers set on white card stock using some SSS dye inks, then die cut them with the matching dies.
(Flower) Lipstick Red dye ink
(Leaves) Willow & Scuba dye inks
I die cut the Diamond Pattern Panel from ivory card stock, tiny butterflies from white card stock using the Flickering Butterflies die.
Instead of letter “O”, I used red flower. :D

Here is another card with the Ornate Alphabet Stamp Set. I made the same way but used different colours. I ink blended the letters with Blue Jay & Duckling dye inks.
For the background, I die cut the Marilyn Full Card Panel from ivory card stock, then adhered it on white card base using double-sided tape.

SSS Watercoloured Floral Cards

Hello crafty friends! I hope you have been well.
Today I have a couple of watercoloured floral cards with SSS Cosmos Bloom & Gerbera Daisy Background Stamps.
For my first card, I am featuring the Cosmos Bloom Background stamp and the Thank You Script die set.
I started by stamping Cosmos Bloom Background on watercolour paper using VersaFine Onyx Black. I then watercoloured the stamped images with Tonic Nuvo Aqua Flow Pens:
Stamen: (light to dark) Mango Mimosa / Cinnamon Stick / Caramel Pecan
Pink Cosmos: Flamingo Pink / Red Apple / Caramel Pecan
Purple Cosmos: Wild Phlox / French Wine / Caramel Pecan
Leaves: Sliced Kiwi / Aqua Splash / Indigo Batik

Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I trimmed it down using 4.25″ x 5.5″ Basic Rectangle Panel die. I then mounted it on white card base using double-sided tape.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Thank you” from Cream card stock, background from vellum paper, then adhered them together using fine tip glue pen.

For my second card, I used the Gerbera Daisy Background stamp and the Miss You die.
I watercoloured the stamped flowers with Altenew Watercolor 36 Pan Set.
I love to make floral background card using watercolours so much!!

SSS Fall Floral Cards

Hello crafty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend.
Today I have a couple of fall floral cards with SSS Sunflower Stem, Cosmos Stem, and Daisy Stem dies.
For my first card, I used the Sunflower Stem die along with the Lined Circles stencil.
I die cut the Wonky Rectangle Panel from watercolour paper first. I placed (and taped) the Lined Circles stencil over the panel, and then brushed over the stencil using Altenew Rocky Shore dye ink to fill the panel. I inked up over the panel with Antique Linen and Tea Dye Distress inks.
I die cut the Sunflower Stem from watercolour paper, then watercoloured it with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on white card base using Glue Dots Permanent Tape Runner, and then adhered the watercoloured sunflower on the card using foam tape.
I applied Glossy Accents to the middle part of sunflower, and added a few of Fresh Cut Grass sequins. For the sentiment, I used the Gratitude Sentiment Strips – it’s so handy, easy to use!!

For my second card, I used the Cosmos Stem & Daisy Stem dies along with the Mod Stripe stencil.
I placed the Mod Stripe stencil on the Wonky Rectangle watercolour panel first, and then brushed with Altenew Rocky Shore dye ink.
I blended to the panel with Tattered Rose & Tea Dye Distress inks. I added water droplets. I die cut Cosmos Stem & Daisy Stem from watercolour paper, then lightly watercoloured them.

SSS Believe in You Release Blog Hop Day 2 + Giveaway

For my first card, I am featuring the CZ Design Birthday Sweets stamp set & Lunchbox die.
I started by die-cutting 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangle panel from watercolour paper using the Basic Rectangle Panel die. I then randomly stamped birthday cakes, candles, stars from the CZ Design Birthday Sweets set on watercolour paper panel using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I coloured all stamped images with Altenew Artist Markers. I die cut the Lunchbox from a separate watercolour paper, stamped images with black dye ink, then coloured them with alcohol markers as well.Let’s look inside! There are another great sentiments & lots of sequins!!
For my second card, I used the Suzy’s Succulents watercolor prints and the Greetings Mix stamp set.
I coloured 8 adorable succulents with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel, and then fussy cut them.
I stamped sentiment from the Greetings Mix set on the centre of the card front using VersaFine Onyx Black, and then adhered all watercoloured succulents as shown in the picture using foam tape.
Watercolouring succulents is so fun! Succulent leaves have many different colours in each of them.
