MFT March Release Countdown – Day 3

Hello crafty friends, blessed Sunday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I am sharing with you a shaker card that I’ve made using Beautiful Blooms stamp set.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY3-001For my floral background, I randomly stamped the flowers and leaves from Beautiful Blooms set on white paper panel using several colours of MFT hybrid ink. For the shaker window, I used Stitched Oval Scallop Frames Die-namics. For the sentiment, I die cut the word “Thanks” from pearl white card stock using Twice the Thanks Die-namics five times, glued them together, then placed it over shaker window using a fine tip glue pen.

MFT March Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things March Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I am featuring the Birdie Brown Strike up the Band stamp set.
YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY4-A001For my first card, I made a watercolour card with the Strike up the Band set. First I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 2) Die cut Paris Skyline from masking paper, then placed the mask die cut over my watercolour paper panel and blended around the mask area with Distress inks using mini blending tool – I used Tumbled Glass, Twisted Citron, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick Distress inks. 3) Removed the mask and brushed the blended area with water. 4) Masked the same area once again, then stamped Music Background (as shown in the picture) on the panel using Natural dye ink. 4) Stamped the bunnies from Strike up the Band set on watercolour paper using Antique Linen Distress ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolours, then die cut them using Strike up the Band Die-namics. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-201603-MFTRC-DAY4-B001Here is another card with the Strike up the Band set. For my soft blue sky background, I used the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics. I die cut Stitched Cloud Edges from scrap paper, placed the cloud die cut on white card stock, then sponged around the die cut with Tumbled Glass Distress ink using a sponge dauber. Lastly I trimmed it using Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. For the bunnies, I stamped them on watercolour paper in pigment black, coloured them with Peerless watercolours, then die cut them with Strike up the Band Die-namics.

MFT WSC 268

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 268.
MFT_WSC_268
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160217-MFTWSC268-001Most of you may know that I love making my own pattern with stamps and Out of This World set is out of this world, literally!!

For the background, I stamped the images from Out of This World set randomly onto watercolour paper panel in pigment black, coloured them with Peerless watercolours using a paintbrush, then added opaque white ink splatters and silly eyes. I used Star Strips Die-namics as the horizontal line element.
