MFT April Release Countdown – Day 5

Welcome to the My Favorite Things April Release Countdown Day 5.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day5Today I am featuring a new Blueprints 28 Die-namics and Fly-By Friends stamp set.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY5-A001Blueprints 28 includes a fun flap panel along with many cool designed dies. With this panel die, we can create a special card that conceals a gift card or a secret message inside it.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY5-A004First off I die cut the panel onto watercolour paper using Blueprints 28 Die-namics, then masked painters tape all edges of the panel where I don’t want to stamp. I then randomly stamped the flowers and leaves from Build-able Bouquet set in Black Licorice hybrid ink. After stamping, I removed the tapes.
YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY5-A005I applied painters tape to all edges of the stamped panel once again to prevent colour bleeding. I then watercoloured the flowers and leaves with Peerless watercolors, the background with Pumice Stone Distress ink using a paint brush.

YoonsunHur-201604-MFTRC-DAY5-B001For my second card, I used Fly-By Friends stamp and Die-namics.
To create the card, I 1) Stamped the flowers from Fly-By Friends set onto the Prima watercolour paper using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. 2) Trimmed the stamped panel using Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 3) Watercoloured the flowers with Peerless watercolors. 4) Stamped the butterfly and bee on a separate watercolour paper using Natural hybrid ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolors as well, then die cut them with Fly-By Friends Die-namics. 5) Stamped the Watercolor Stripes Background on the Primitive White card base in Natural dye ink.

MFT WSC 274

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my masculine card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 274.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160330-MFTWSC274-001To create this card, I 1) Stamped the ties from Terrific Ties set onto the Prima watercolour paper using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with white embossing powder. 2) Trimmed the stamped paper using Cross-Stitch Square STAX Die-namics. 3) Watercoloured the stamped panel with Peerless watercolors. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Get Down to Business set on black card stock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 5) Die cut the star from Gold Foil card stock using Lucky Stars Die-namics. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to the Primitive White card base using dimensional foam tape.

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 273.

Here is what I came up with:
PrintFirst off I 1) Stamped the bird from Tweet Friends set on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Distress markers and then die cut it using Tweet Friends Die-namics. 2) Die cut the bird cage from white card stock using Cheerful Cages Die-namics. 3) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Spring Wreath set on a separate watercolour paper using hybrid inks, then trimmed it using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 4) Die cut two fish tail banners from each Kraft and Pineapple card stock using Blueprints 27 Die-namics, then stamped the sentiment from Sweet Succulents set on the kraft banner in Black Licorice hybrid ink. 5) Stamped Geometric Grid Background on A2 white card base using Latte hybrid ink. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to the stamped base using dimensional foam tape. 7) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

I love this new kit especially the paper pack!! So today I want to share with you my paper pieced card using Trail Mix Patterned Paper.
YoonsunHur-20160316-MFT-MarchCardKit-001To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of Prima watercolour paper using A2 sized stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 set. 2) Blended on the watercolour panel with Summer Splash dye ink for sky and Sour Apple dye ink for grass using mini blending tool, added a bit of water droplets. 3) Die cut Radiant Sun, Farm Fence, Grassy Fields, and trees from the Trail Mix Patterned Paper. 4) Stamped the bear from Warm & Fuzzy Friends set on a separate watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured it with Peerless watercolour, then die cut it using Warm & Fuzzy Friends Die-namics. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 size white card base using dimensional foam tape.

MFT March Card Kit – Warm & Fuzzy Friends Countdown Day 2

PrintToday I want to share with you three of my (kind of) CAS cards using awesome background stamps along with Warm & Fuzzy Friends kit.

I stamped Watercolor Stripes Background on white card stock using Sour Apple hybrid ink and then trimmed it using Wonky Stitched Square STAX Die-namics. I stamped the bear from Warm & Fuzzy Friends set on Prima watercolour paper in pigment black ink, coloured it with Peerless watercolour, then die cut it using Warm & Fuzzy Friends Die-namics.
