MFT June Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2My card today featuring the Jungle Friends Stamp Set & Die-namics, Surf & Turf Die-namics, Trees in the Forest Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY2-001To create this card, I die cut the elephants from white card stock using the Jungle Friends Die-namics, coloured them with Copic markers C1 & C3. For the background, I ink blended the hill, Surf & Turf Die-namics, with Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Distress inks, the sky with Tumbled Glass Distress ink using a mini ink blending tool. I then die cut the trees from watercolour paper using the Trees in the Forest Die-namics, coloured them with Mowed Lawn & Vintage Photo Distress inks.

For the interactive part, I die cut a slider slot from the ink blended hill using the Surf & Turf Die-namics, two 3/8″ circles from white card stock as well. Next, I adhered one of the circle die cuts to the back of the baby elephant, then also glued the Spin & Slide Disc underneath the circle die cut using double-sided tape. Lastly, I inserted another circle die cut into the slot, then mounted the baby elephant on it.

MFT June Release Countdown – Day 3

Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I want to share with you my cards with the new Fun in the Sun Stamp Set & Die-namics and Funky Flowers Stamp Set.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY3-A001For my first card, I stamped the images from the Fun in the Sun set on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, watercoloured them with Peerless watercolors,  then die cut them with the Fun in the Sun Die-namics. For the watercoloured background panel, I die cut a piece of watercolour paper using the Snow Drifts Cover-Up Die-namics, coloured the negative pieces with Peerless watercolors, then inlaid them. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins & Glossy Accents droplets.

YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY3-B001For my second card, I 1) Die cut the panel from the Kraft card stock using the stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics. 2) Stamped the flowers and leaves from the Funky Flowers set on the Kraft panel with white pigment ink, then coloured them with Polychromos colour pencils. 3) Die cut the circle window at the centre of the coloured panel using circle die, replaced the sentiment panel – I used the Spring Wreath stamp set for the sentiment. 4) Die cut the Stitched Circle Frame from white card stock. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape.

MFT June Release Countdown – Day 4

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things June Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4My cards today featuring super adorable Hog Heaven Stamp Set & Die-namics and Flop Card – Circle Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-A001To create my first card, I stamped the pigs from the Hog Heaven set on white card stock using Peach Bellini hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers: (from lighter to darker) E000, E00, E21 / R20 for noses / R22 for cheeks. I then die cut them with the Hog Heaven Die-namics. For the base, I made my own cloud background with Summer Splash hybrid ink. I die cut several pieces of white card stock using the Stitched Cloud Edges Die-namics, and used them as stencils. I mounted all elements as shown to the inked base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B001For my second card, I made an easel card with the new Flop Card – Circle Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B-P01To start with, I stamped and clear heat embossed the Whimsical Woodgrain Background on white card base, then inked on it with Latte hybrid ink using a mini ink blending tool.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B-P02Next, I placed the Flop Card – Circle Die-namics on the stamped base, used washi tapes to hold it on, and then run it through the die-cutting machine.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B-P03YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B-P04I decorated the card front with the Funky Flowers stamp set – I stamped them on white card stock using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Copics, then die cut them with the Funky Flowers Die-namics. For the sentiment, I used the Grateful for You stamp set.

I die cut a piece of kraft paper using the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics, stamped the stitched leaves from Funky Flowers set on it with Latte hybrid ink, then added the word “grateful” die cut on it.YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B002YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY4-B003

MFT June Release Countdown – Day 5

NewReleaseCountdown_Day5My cards today featuring new Beautiful Girl Stamp Set & Die-namics, Sweet Forest Friends Stamp Set & Die-namics, Birch Trees Die-namics, Stitched Valley Die-namics.
YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY5-A001For my first card, I stamped the girl from the Beautiful Girl set on watercolour paper using black pigment ink, coloured it with Distress markers, die cut it with the Beautiful Girl Die-namics. For the floral background, I heat embossed the flowers and leaves from the Funky Flowers & Beautiful Girl sets in white, ink blended the panel with Mustard Seed, Victorian Velvet, and Worn Lipstick Distress inks using the mini ink blending tool, then added a bit of clean water. For the sentiment, I also used the Beautiful Girl stamp set. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins for finishing touches.

YoonsunHur-201606-MFTRC-DAY5-B001For my second card, I used the Sweet Forest Friends Stamp Set & Die-namics as my main supplies. First, I watercoloured the birds, butterfly, and cute critters from the Sweet Forest Friends set on watercolour paper with Distress markers, then die cut them with the Sweet Forest Friends Die-namics. For the forest, I cut the Birch Trees out from the Kraft card stock, the Stitched Valley out from watercolour paper at first. I then inked the edge of the birch trees with Vintage Photo Distress ink, blended the Stitched Valley with Twisted Citron & Mowed Lawn Distress inks using the mini ink blending tool. For the sentiment, I used the Sweet Forest Friends stamp set. I mounted all elements as shown to top-folded Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT Color Challenge 46

Hello crafty friends, welcome to My Favorite Things Color Challenge 46.
MFT-Color46For my card today, I used Peach Bellini, Coral Crush, Berrylicious, and Kraft.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160526-MFTColor46-001First off I simply stamped the flowers and leaves from the Large Desert Bouquet set on white card stock using hybrid inks: Peach Bellini & Coral Crush for flowers and Berrylicious for leaves. I then trimmed the stamped panel with the Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Delicate Pretty Poppies set with Black Licorice hybrid ink. I mounted the panel on the Kraft card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear sequins for finishing touches.
