Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things August Release Countdown Day 4.
Today I want to share with you my fun birthday card with the Monster Love Stamp & Die-namics, and Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows Die-namics. The Monster Love set is perfect for boy card!!
To create the card, I 1) die cut Stitched Triple Peek-a-Boo Windows from white paper panel. 2) Stamped the monsters from the Monster Love set randomly onto the die cut panel in Grout Gray and Gravel Gray (darker gray) hybrid inks. 3) Stamped the monsters on a separate white card stock using several colours of hybrid ink: (Red) Red Hot & Paver Red / (Blue) Blu Raspberry & Lush Lagoon / (Brown) Latte & Chocolate Brown. 4) Die cut the stamped images with the Monster Love Die-namics. 5) Die cut the balloons from another white card stock using the Birthday Balloons Die-namics, then coloured them with Copic markers. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to white card base using dimensional foam tape. 7) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

It is fun, fun, FUN to make birthday cards!!
The topic of her hop is “Celebrating Kindness” because she wants to give back to everyone who has been so supportive over the past few years, so it’s really about celebrating all the awesome people in our community who are so generous with taking the time to comment, encourage, send cards and just be wonderful – I totally respect and admire her opinions!!
For my card today, I made a watercolour flower card with the MFT Grand Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set – Watercolour is definitely my most favourite painting medium!! I heat embossed the flowers from the set on cold press watercolour paper panel in white, then loosely coloured around the flowers with Distress inks using a wet paint brush. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the MFT Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock in white, then cut the small banner. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using dimensional foam tape.
The sponsors have been extremely generous, and this is the list of prizes which Julia will be giving away:
