MFT January Release Countdown – Day 2

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 2.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day2My card today features the I’m Owl Yours Stamp Set & Die-namics along with other new products.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day2-001To start, I created the Abstract Heart shaker window from an A2 sized watercolour paper panel. I then stamped many hearts from the I’m Owl Yours set on the shaker panel using Latte and Red Hot hybrid inks, lightly watercoloured on it with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. I die cut the bottom of the shaker panel using Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 Die-namics, then adhered the acetate behind the shaker panel, added shaker filler. For the main image, I stamped, die cut and coloured the cute owl couple from the I’m Owl Yours set. I mounted all elements as shown to the Poppy card base using foam tape.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 3

Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 3.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day3Today I am featuring the You’ve Got Mail Stamp Set, Love Is in the Mail Stamp Set, and Mailbox Die-namics.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day3-001For my card today, I 1) Stamped the girl from the You’ve Got Mail set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured her with Copic markers, and then die cut with the You’ve Got Mail Die-namics. 2) Die cut the Mailbox from colour card stocks, and then assembled them using foam tape. 3) For the background, I die cut the stitched heart from the centre of the A2 sized stitched rectangle panel using Stitched Heart STAX Die-namics, inlaid it in place, and then watercoloured on it with Worn Lipstick Distress ink. 4) For the sentiment, I white heat embossed it from the Love Is in the Mail set. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 4

Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 4.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day4Today I am featuring the Otterly Love You Stamp Set, Abstract Heart Die-namics, Chevron Segments Cover-Up Die-namics.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day4-b001For my first card, I made a watercolour card with the Otterly Love You stamp set. I stamped cute otters, little fishes, rocks from the set on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, then trimmed it using the scallop rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 27 Die-namics. I coloured them with Distress markers. Once dry, I mounted the panel on the Primitive White card base using foam tape.

I die cut the chevron panel from the Primitive White card stock and glitter white card stock using the Chevron Segments Cover-Up Die-namics, then inlaid chevron pieces in place. Next, I die cut the Abstract Heart from the Wild Cherry card stock two times, then glued them together using the fine tip glue pen. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Essential Sentiments set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then die cut it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. I mounted all elements as shown to the Primitive White card base using foam tape. To finish it off, I embellished with a few PPP clear sequins and droplet.

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 5

Hello crafty friends. Wishing you a very happy new year 2017!!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 5.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day5My cards today featuring the Knight in Shining Armor and Once upon a Time stamp sets – we will take you to the fairy tale world!!
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-a001For my first card, I made a watercolour card. As you may know, I love to create my own watercoloured background with stamps. First, I randomly stamped the images from the Knight in Shining Armor and Once upon a Time sets on watercolour paper panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and Distress markers.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-a002For the brink frame, I die cut it from watercolour paper using the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I then laid the English Brick Wall stencil on it, inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink, and then lightly touched with water. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Once upon a Time set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then die cut it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. Finally, I mounted them on the Kraft card base using foam tape.

I stamped knight and princess on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the castle, I die cut the pieces from colour card stocks using the Castle Die-namics, assembled them.

MFT November Release – New Product Launch

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch! All of the new products we’ve been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT Store now!
NewProductLaunchMy card features the Solid Birch Trees Die-namics and Peaceful Words Die-namics in November.
yoonsunhur-nov-mftrc-nplTo create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of watercolour paper using an A2 sized rectangle panel die in the Blueprints 16 Die-namics. 2) Watercoloured on the A2 watercolour paper panel lightly with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and a wet paint brush, and then added opaque white ink splatters. 3) Die cut the birch trees from watercolour paper using the Solid Birch Trees and Birch Trees Die-namics. 4) Die cut the sentiment from the Silver Sparkle card stock using the Peaceful Words Die-namics. 5) Stamped the deers from the Deer Friends set on white card stock using Latte & Chocolate Brown hybrid inks, then die cut them with the Deer Friends Die-namics. 6) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using double-sided tape. 7) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.
