You are my STAR!

Hello folks,
Today, I want to show you my two different version with one stamp card :D

Let me show you the first card here:
20140711-01I chose absolutely gorgeous Hero Arts Constellation Background stamp for this card. It is really beautiful!!

I heat embossed on the white cardstock using Ranger Embossing Powder Seaform White at first and then sponged onto it using several colour Distress inks. I then spritzed fresh water onto the background paper for making watercolour look. For sentiment, I used On Target Stamp by Mama Elephant and added some gold shape sequins as an embellishment. OH! finally I stamped Korean letters in black between constellation. I have Korean letter – Korean is my first language –  stamp sets and they are so adorable! Combining the letters in this card means ‘I LOVE YOU’ :D

Here is a detailed view:

And…. one more card here:
20140711-03It is kind of a masculine card although there is a glitter butterfly :D

I heat embossed on the white paper in gold and silver. For sentiment I chose Simply Fabulous Sayings MFT Stamps and then heat embossed on the vellum paper in black. I added a glitter butterfly and several enamel dots for finishing touch.

Watercolour Blooming!

Hello folks,
Watercolour mood today! I love to do watercolouring! I am still learning and practicing over and over again :D

Here is my card:
20140703-01
I made watercolour card with lovely Clearly Besotted Stamps Blooming. Blooming stamp set is so adorable and very good for faux hand-painting technique :D

I chose red and gold colour combinations in this card (Red rose is quite a traditional but very awesome!). I sponged on the white paper with Distress Ink Fired Brick at first. I then layered a mini heart stencil over the watercolour paper and gently applied it with gold embossing paste. Now, it is time to do watercolouring! I stamped rose using Distress Ink Fired Brick and leaves in Mowed Lawn via second generation stamping. I then painted them with a fine brush. I added some red watercolour spots, red sequins, and clear rhinestones for finishing touch.

Here it is:20140616-01I named it ‘GARDEN HEAVEN’.

The theme for round 5 is ‘ADHESIVES‘. Adhesives… adhesives… I counted double-sided bonding tape, foam adhesive, any types of glue, and glossy accents. Am I right?
(please~ these are all I have…)
20140616-02
My card looks nothing special… just made with ordinary way… but, my aim for this round was to show you a conventional card with its own unique idea. I chose several colours of ‘Martha Stewart Glitter Powder’ for the background and ‘Summer Garden stamps by Simon Says Stamp’ as embellishments. I LOVE Summer Garden stamps very much. It is so adorable! So, I was really happy that I could use these stamps for my last challenge card LOL!!

I affixed a double-sided sticky tape on the paper at first and then I die cut using MFT Die-namics Triangle Screen as a garden wall hangings.

20140616-03
I then gently rubbed on glitter powder on the sticky part of the paper. Rainbow colours were chose from Martha Glitter Powders. They are super-duper fine and I love them all.
20140616-04

My second form of adhesives – and this is my favourite types of adhesives – is Glossy Accents! I used it to make watercolour flowers more fancy.

20140616-05
Lastly, I used foam adhesive for a 3D dimension of the sentiment, tiny butterfly, flowers, and leaves. :D

Wow… with each round, the task is getting more difficult and very tricky as well. The theme for round 4 is ‘BORDER STAMPS‘ and I – honestly and seriously – just have one border stamp set. OMGoodness!!!

……It’s OK!! The one-and-only border stamp set is so beautiful and enough to make a good card (I believe…)

Here it is:
20140609-01
When you look at this card, what is the first thing that come to your mind? Passion, classy, rose, frills, and beautiful Red & Black… Let’s dance Flamenco!
I named it ‘Flamenco Fantasy‘ and You are my greatest joy!!

I wanted to express gorgeous red long dress, beautiful red rose using lace border stamps, and happy dancing moment through paper frills. It was so great moment and the greatest joy.

20140609-02I heat embossed music background stamp in clear on the black card base at first. I then blended with several reddish colours of Distress Inks on the watercolour paper. After red watercolour paper was completely dried, I carefully stamped chosen border stamps in black and added shiny effect using Clear Zig Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. For sentiment, I aligned it along with lace borders. To make it stand out, I stamped in Frost white on the black banner.
