SSS XOXOXOXOXO

Happy Wednesday, crafty friends!
Simon Says Stamp recently released lots of love-themed products for Valentine’s Day projects, called “You Are Loved“. So, I will make and share with you love-themed cards during this month. :D

For my card today, I used the Windows to My Heart Die along with other SSS old & new products.I die cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangle panel from watercolour paper using the Basic Rectangles Die Set, then die cut heart window from a 3.25″ x 4.5″ watercolour paper panel as well.
I placed the heart window panel on a basic rectangle panel, then traced hearts with a pencil.
I heat embossed leafy heart image from the Ornate Love Set on the panel in white – ready to ink up with pink!

I inked up the heat embossed panel with Candied Apple, Picked Raspberry, Tattered Rose Distress Inks, then covered it with the Windows to My Heart panel using foam tape. For the sentiments, I die cut the word “Love” from glitter gold paper, shadow from vellum paper, then stuck them together using fine tip glue pen. Another small sentiment banner, I heat embossed it from the Simple Sentiments 2 Set on Schoolhouse Red card stock in white, trimmed it down.
I decorated the card front with the Outline Clustered Leaves!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

SSS You Are Loved Blog Hop + Giveaway

Happy Friday, crafty friends!
I’m super excited to be a part of the Simon Says Stamp You Are Loved Blog Hop! You Are Loved Release has full of love-themed stamps, dies, and many more!

To create the card, I die cut a 4.25″ x 5.5″ rectangle panel from watercolour paper using the Basic Rectangle Die, then slightly trimmed the sides. For a green coloured floral background, I used the Bold Flowers Stamp Set. I stamped flowers & leaves with Evergreen, Willow, and Smoke Gray Dye Inks, then inked up the stamped panel with Crushed Olive, Antique Linen Distress Inks. I added ink splatters here and there.
I stamped the sentiment from the So Loved Set on white card stock using VersaFine Onyx Black, then trimmed it with Stitched Circle Die.
I also die cut the Outline Clustered Leaves from white card stock. Once the background panel was dry, I mounted it on Midnight Green card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape.
The Outline Clustered Leaves Die is definitely my most favourite among entire “You Are Loved” release products.

For my second card, I’m featuring So Loved Stamp Set – it’s SO PRETTY!!!
I randomly stamped flowers & leaves on a 4.25″ x 5.5″ watercolour panel using Memento Tuxedo Black Dye Ink, then coloured them with Altenew Artist Markers.

Spellbinders January 2019 Stamp of the Month – Key To My Heart

Happy New Year, crafty friends!
Today I have a love themed card with the new Spellbinders January Stamp of the Month – Key To My Heart! It’s a new club to Spellbinders/Fun Stampers Journey in addition to their current club kits. (This month’s “Key to My Heart Stamp Set” also has a coordinating “Key to My Heart Die Set” (DI-0507), sold separately. *You may add the die at time of subscription.)
Here’s a look at the January Stamp of the Month – Key To My Heart.

And, here is what I came up with:
I started by heat embossing beautiful keys & locks from the Key To My Heart set on watercolour paper panel in white. I then ink blended on the stamped panel with Picked Raspberry & Tattered Rose Distress inks. Next, I partially washed colours from images using water brush first, and then added red & yellow to the stamped images as shown in the picture.
I mounted the panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added watercoloured wings & key, sentiment banner on the centre of the card front using foam tape.
The Spellbinders Stamp of the Month is available on the 1st of every month. If you have any questions, click HERE.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

SSS For You!

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
As you know, I normally make watercoloured floral cards, stamped & coloured, but I’m trying to make simple die cards with the SSS DieCember products in December! It’s so FUN!!

For my first card, I used the Big For You word die along with the Sprinkle Heart die. I die cut a rectangle panel from white card stock using the Basic Rectangles die first, and then cut the Sprinkle Heart die three times (as shown in the picture) from the white paper panel.
I adhered a sticky panel behind the heart die cut panel, then filled the hearts & dots with fine glitters.
For the sentiment, I die cut the word “for you” from metallic gold card stock using the Big For You die five times, and then stacked them up using fine tip glue pen.

Here is another simple die card with the Big For You die. I die cut a rectangle panel from white card stock first, and then die cut a heart from the centre of the white paper panel as well. I added the Stitched Whirls to the heart window panel. I die cut the Deco Heart from Fog Gray card stock, I used both of positive & negative cuts, and then adhered it on the same coloured Fog Gray card base.
I die cut tiny red flowers & green leaves using the Blooming Wave die – I used the Lipstick Red & Green Apple card stocks. I then decorated the card front with these cute flowers & leaves.
This flower cluster is so cute, isn’t it?!! I covered flowers with glossy accents.

Altenew: Valentine’s Day Card

Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
I’m just popping in to share with you my pink Valentine’s Day card using the newly released Altenew die sets – Spring Shower Cover die, Caps Bold Alphabet die set, and Create-A-Wreath die set.
To create the card, I die cut the Spring Shower Cover from watercolour paper, and then lightly brushed on the floral panel with Tattered Rose Distress ink. I die cut the word “XO” from a separate watercolour paper using the Caps Bold Alphabet die set, then watercoloured the letters with Festive Berries & Picked Raspberry Distress inks and a wet paint brush. I die cut leaves from glitter gold card stock using the Create-A-Wreath die set. Before mounting the floral panel & all other elements, I ink blended on a white card base with shades of pink – it’s the perfect shade to wear for Valentine’s Day, right?! :D
