Flora & Fauna: Textures

Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my abstract patterned card using Flora & Fauna Texture and Texture Four stamp sets.

Here is what I came up with:
Honestly, this is my first abstract patterned card. It wasn’t easy to make concept but was so fun! I would make more with the texture sets later. I stamped the sentiment (from the You Me and Tea set) on the bottom right corner of white paper panel in black pigment ink first. I then stamped brush strokes (from the Texture & Texture Four sets) using some Altenew dye inks, dots, lines, berries using black pigment ink as shown to the image.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful day!

Flora & Fauna: Sending good vibes

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!
I want to share with you my fun watercolour card today with some Flora & Fauna stamp sets: Love Bug, Winter Aviary, You Me and Tea sets.

I started by stamping “driving friends” from brand new Love Bug set on watercolour paper, watercoloured it with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel, and then fussy cut it out. For making floral background, I stamped cute flowers & leaves from two Winter Aviary & You Me and Tea sets on the top & bottom of watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink, loosely watercoloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel as well. I added more watercolours using Festive Berries Distress ink.
Once the floral panel was completely dry, I mounted it on top-folded white card base using double-sided tape, and then added the “driving friends” cut on the centre of the card front using foam tape. I added the sentiment banner as if the personalised number plate. :D
Sending you good vibes!

Newton’s Nook Deck The Halls With Inky Paws

Hello crafty friends! I am so thrilled to be the featured guest for Newton’s Nook Designs today!

For my cards today, I am featuring an adorable Holiday Foliage stencil along with the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.
To create the card, I cut kraft card stock to 3″ x 4.5″ using rectangle panel die. I then placed the Holiday Foliage stencil over the kraft panel, and then applied the white embossing paste using palette knife. I added the clear glitter to the embossing paste while they’re still wet.
Before mounting the main panel, I stamped small Christmas images from the Snow Globe Scenes set on top-folded card base using Memento Desert Sand dye ink. I decorated the card base with red check ribbon & jingle bells, and then mounted the kraft panel using foam tape. For the sentiment, I used the Snow Globe Scenes stamp set.

For my second card, I used the Holiday Foliage stencil in a fun way. I tried to create a no-line watercoloured card with this stencil.
I used mini round ink blending tool to colour the images with Antique Linen Distress ink first.
I then coloured each inked image with several Distress inks and water brush: Festive Berries, Mowed Lawn, Evergreen Bough, Rusty Hinge, Crushed Olive, Vintage Photo.
Ta-Da! I am very pleased with the outcome!!

Be sure to check out the Newton’s Nook Blog this week for lots of fun holiday inspiration, and I’ll be back on Friday with another Christmas project for the Blog hop!

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

Hello crafty friends, welcome to day 5 of Advent Calendar Extravaganza with an amazing Taheerah Atchia!!

My card today, I used some of Pretty Pink Posh winter holiday themed stamp sets: Winter Woodland, Winter Wonderland, Wild Rose, and Holiday Greetings.
I cut watercolour paper to 5 ½” x 4 ¼” using rectangle panel die first. I then stamped large leaves (from Wild Rose set), cute critters & snowflakes (from Winter Woodland & Winter Wonderland sets), small leaves (from Holiday Greetings set) randomly onto watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black pigment ink. I coloured them with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel.
For the sentiment, I die cut Scallop Circle Tag from red card stock and then heat embossed it (from Holiday Greetings set) with white embossing powder. I decorated circle sentiment tag with jingle bells, red & white bakers twine. I mounted the watercoloured panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment tag on the top right corner of the card using foam tape.
