Today’s theme is Joyful Christmas!
YoonsunHur-2015July-PennyBlack-Day2-A01For my first card, I used Tiny Treasures Stamp set as my main supply. I stamped these little cuties onto the watercolour panel with black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers. I then coloured rest areas with Distress ink Pumice Stone using waterbrush. For the sentiment, I die cut ‘Rejoice’ from the white cardstock using Exultations dies and then gold heat embossed. To finish it off, I added mixed clear sequins.

For the background panel, I randomly stamped Tiny Treasures on the white panel using Vintage Sepia pigment ink. Then, I stamped kitties from Winter Friends Stamp set on the watercolour paper using black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers and then fussy cut them. For the sentiment, I die cut Jingle die from the white cardstock, gold heat embossed. To finish it off, I mounted all elements as shown to the stamped panel.

SSS Wednesday Challenge – Favorite Technique

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
wed-newchallenge-headerHere we are again with a new challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!
wed-challenge-badge_zpsf506d7eeThis week’s theme is My Favorite Technique!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150617-SSSWC01Watercolour card is definitely my most favourite and I love the colours of the rainbow. So, I made my own rainbow watercolour background.

Simon Carousel Horse die takes me back to my childhood. When I was a little girl, my parents took me to the amusement park to celebrate my birthday. I still remember how I loved riding carousel horses and seeing a pretty rainbow up in the sky. Ohhhh… I want to go to the amusement park right now lol!

To create my own background, I used Distress inks Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, and Seedless Preserves in rainbow order. I saturated a wide paintbrush with fresh water, and brushed the water over the watercolour panel at first. I then coloured with those Distress inks using the same paintbrush. I die cut the carousel horse and birthday circle from the white cardstock, mounted them as shown to the watercoloured panel. To finish it off, I embellished some clear sequins, star wood veneers.

YoonsunHur-20150612-SSSColorFun02Yum!! There are full of yummy ice cream cones! Strawberry, caramel, orange, mint… what’s your favourite flavour? The Cone Building Stamp set is perfect for summer!

1)For the ice cream cones, I used second-generation stamping with Distress inks. I inked up the images with Distress inks, stamped them on the leftover white paper. Then, without re-inking it, stamped the images again on the watercolour panel. I then, brushed them using waterbrush.

The Color of Fun Release contained so pretty colours of 12 new dye inks. OH! The Colours! They are pure yumminess!!
YoonsunHur-20150612-SSSColorFun04 And I used Rosie Cheeks, Spring Rain, Wisteria as shown to the picture.
YoonsunHur-20150612-SSSColorFun08For the happy birthday word, I inked on the white cardstock with Rosie Cheeks, Spring Rain, Wisteria dye inks using blending tool. I then die cut from the inked paper using Birthday Circle die. I die cut from the white cardstock 4 more times and then glued together.

For my last card -exactly the way it looks through it- I used a variety of different colours :DYoonsunHur-20150612-SSSColorFun05I used One With Nature Stamp set. Oh! I am so in love with the set. It is truly gorgeous!! I stamped the trees & leaves on the watercolour panel with black pigment ink, coloured them with Distress markers. It was so fun to colour them.
