Whimsy Stamps March Release Day 1

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the debut release of Whimsy Stamps newest artist/illustrator Nina-Marie Trapani!!
Nina-Marie has created 4 new clear stamp sets and 2 new Shapeology crafting dies to complement the stamp sets. Each day this week Whimsy Stamps design team and special guests will be sharing the new products and then on Friday, March 11th you will be able to purchase them from the Whimsy Stamps Shop. Oh, I am so excited to be a guest designer at Whimsy Stamps this month.

Today all Whimsy Stamps design team and special guests are sharing with you a new Sketched Elephants and coordinating dies.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160307-Whimsy-001 To create this card, I stamped the elephant, cone hat, and balloon from Sketched Elephants set onto watercolour paper using Antique Linen Distress ink, coloured them with Distress markers and then die cut them using coordinating dies. For the shaker panel, I die cut a piece of white card stock using MFT A2 sized stitched rectangle die in the Blueprints 25 Die-namics, then also die cut a semicircle window at the centre of the panel using PPP Window Frames dies. Inside the shaker window, I used PPP Iridescent Mini Star Confetti. I mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape and then embellished with Hemptique Taffy Hemp Cord and a few PPP clear sequins.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 4

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 4.

Today I am sharing with you a couple cards that I’ve made using super adorable stamp sets: Caped Cuties and Hot Stuff sets.
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY4-B002 I made simple note cards. It’s so easy to make!! First I stamped the images onto white paper panel and then coloured the background with Copic markers.
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY4-A001 For my first card, I used Caped Cuties stamp set and BG13 Copic marker.
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY4-B001 For my second card, I used Hot Stuff stamp set – suuuuuper cute dragons – and R22 Copic marker.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 3

Hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 3.

Today I am sharing with you the card that I’ve made using a new Caped Cuties stamp set – Oh my, these critters are super cute!!
YoonsunHur-201603-CB-DAY3-001 To create this card, I 1) Stamped the buildings from Caped Cuties set at the bottom of the watercolour panel in pigment black ink, full moon and stars at the top of the panel as well. 2) Coloured the night sky with Hero Arts Watercolor Wheel using a wet paintbrush, spritzed with Ranger Perfect Pearls Mist, then added some opaque white ink splatters. 3) Stamped the critters on a separate watercolour paper using pigment black, coloured them with Distress markers and then fussy cut them. 4) Stamped the sentiment “HAVE A SUPER BIRTHDAY!” on black card stock using VersaMark embossing ink and white heat embossed it. 5) Mounted all elements as shown to A2 white card base using dimensional foam tape. 6) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins.

Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 2

Hello, hello crafty friends, welcome to the Clearly Besotted March Release Teaser Time Day 2. I am (always!) so happy to be a guest designer at Clearly Besotted!!

Today I want to share with you a couple of floral cards that I’ve made using so beautiful From All of Us stamp set – Yes! It’s a flower stamp set :D
YoonsunHur-20160302-CB-DAY2-A001 For my first card, I 1) Stamped the poppies from From All of Us set randomly onto watercolour paper panel using MFT Latte hybrid ink, then loosely coloured them with Antique Linen Distress ink using a wet paintbrush. 2) Stamped the poppy on a separate watercolour paper in pigment black ink, coloured it with Distress markers, then fussy cut it – I used Festive Berries, Barn Door, Fired Brick, Fossilized Amber, Mowed Lawn, and Brushed Corduroy Distress markers. 3) Mounted the floral panel on A2 white card base using double-sided tape, then stamped the sentiment in black. 4) Adhered the watercoloured poppy cut to the centre of the card using dimensional foam tape. 5) Embellished with a few PPP clear sequins. YoonsunHur-20160302-CB-DAY2-A002 YoonsunHur-20160302-CB-DAY2-B001 I used the same way as the first card but using different colours. I stamped the images from From All of Us set onto watercolour paper panel using MFT Gravel Gray hybrid ink, then loosely coloured them with Pumice Stone Distress ink. For the yellow coloured flower, I used Fossilized Amber, Carved Pumpkin, and Brushed Corduroy Distress markers.

Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge

Hello crafty friends, I am so honoured to be playing along with the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge this month!Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog.
ELLEN-IP I was inspired by beautiful flowers and ombré pink, so romantic!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160210-EllenPinSightsChallenge-A001 For my ombré watercolour background, I 1) Coloured on watercolour paper with (from the bottom) Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar Distress inks using a wet flat brush. 2) Trimmed it with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 3) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Bohemian Garden set at the centre of the watercoloured panel using embossing ink, clear heat embossed (Make sure to completely dry your panel!). 4) Applied a bit of water around the embossed images using a paint brush to remove the ink. 5) Added Picked Raspberry ink splatters. For the sentiment, I used Be-YOU-Tiful die. I cut it 3 additional times and layered it to give it some dimension.

For my second card, I 1) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Bohemian Garden set on watercolour paper panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2) Coloured them with Distress inks using a waterbrush: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar for flowers and Bundled Sage for leaves. 3) Added opaque white ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Love You So by set on the watercoloured panel in pigment black. 5) Mounted it on A2 size white card base using double-sided tape.
