Hello crafty friends, TGIF!!
Today I want to share with you my flower card using the newly released Clearly Besotted English Rose stamp set.
The set is so beautiful! I think it will be one of my all time favourite stamp sets!!
Here is what I came up with:
I used the Mini MISTI stamping tool to stamp layered roses & leaves exactly where I want. I stamped the roses & leaves from the set onto watercolour paper panel using Altenew dye inks:
3 of larger red roses: Ruby Red & Dark Chocolate (darker shade)
2 of brighter red roses: Crimson & Velvet (darker shade)
Leaves: Forest Glades & Evergreen (darker shade)
Once the stamped panel was dry, I lightly coloured the roses with Tattered Rose Distress ink, the leaves with Twisted Citron Distress ink. I then coloured around the roses with Tumbled Glass Distress ink and a wet paint brush. I added red ink splatters over the panel. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the To You With Love set on the bottom part of the panel in VersaFine Onyx Black, and then heat embossed it in clear. Finally, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape, and then added clear droplets over the roses using Glossy Accents.
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a lovely day!!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

The topic of her hop is “Celebrating Kindness” because she wants to give back to everyone who has been so supportive over the past few years, so it’s really about celebrating all the awesome people in our community who are so generous with taking the time to comment, encourage, send cards and just be wonderful – I totally respect and admire her opinions!!
For my card today, I made a watercolour flower card with the MFT Grand Peaceful Wildflowers stamp set – Watercolour is definitely my most favourite painting medium!! I heat embossed the flowers from the set on cold press watercolour paper panel in white, then loosely coloured around the flowers with Distress inks using a wet paint brush. Next, I heat embossed the sentiment from the MFT Delicate Pretty Poppies set on black card stock in white, then cut the small banner. Once the watercoloured panel was dry, I mounted the panel on an A2 sized white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using dimensional foam tape.
The sponsors have been extremely generous, and this is the list of prizes which Julia will be giving away:
