Gallery Idol Round 2: Bride of May

Hello folks,
Happy Monday!! I am highly honoured to be a part of the Top 20 at Gallery Idol.

Now, I am extremely excited to submit my second card to GI Round Two!! The theme for round two is ‘DIE-CUTTING‘ :D

When I first knew the theme, I thought it would be easy for me because, I have many dies. Buttttttt… It was so hard to make the right card.. I was above myself. Haha…
Honestly, I cut each one of all my dies and arranged all die cuts on the desk! Thinking… thinking… thinking… I was thinking what I was going to make over and over again.

Sigh……

Oh!! I hit on the best idea all of a sudden! ‘BRIDE OF MAY‘ LOL!!

I chose lovely Spellbinders In’spire Die-Silhouette, Clearly Besotted Fancy Feathers Die Collection, and Clearly Besotted Love Word Die. My focal point is ‘LOVE WORD’ die cut. Normally I use stamps when I decorate a card with sentiment but, for round two, I wanted to carry out my duties faithfully.

YAY!! It is time to make a NEW card with NEW word! The cue word is ‘FLOWER’ :D

Ta da! This is my CAS card for CASology Week 96 Challenge!

I chose ‘Memorybox Die Aubrey Bloom Set‘ and made inlaid die cut card. I tried to minimise the use of Copic colouring. Because, I wanted to make more CAS card (does it make sense? :D)

Guest Designer at CASology Week 95

Week 95 - Splash CASology WEEK 95 – SPLASH

YAY!! I was very happy to be invited by Melissa at CASology, to be the guest designer this week. The cue word is SPLASH.

Here it is:

for this week’s card, I want to make Fun and Colourful CAS card with one layer!
I chose ‘Polka dot background stamp by Unity Stamp Co.’ and distress ink pads Festive Berries, Mustard Seed, and Peacock Feathers for rainbow colour effects.

At first, I applied 3 distress ink colours up to one third of stamp area and spritzed it once or twice with water and then stamp the image!! So easy and simple :D

Lastly, I chose ‘Life is Fun stamp by Hero Arts’ for delivering message LOL!!

MOTHERS DAY!!
11th of May is Mothers day in Australia. I am not a mum yet but, I am a daughter. So, I made ‘SPRING FLOWER’ card for my mum.

Am I doing wordplay now? ye… it sounds like ‘PUN’ but, isn’t it perfect fit the ‘CAS card – Electric’? Yee-haa~ look at the heart shape~ it is like light bulb :)
