Let it Snow

Hello folks! I just popping in to share my ‘Let it Snow’ stencil card today.

HeroArtsHolidayChallengeI’m entering this card in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge: Anything Goes holiday cards and projects!

Here is what I came up with:
20141007-01-EN
20141007-04-EN
1) First, I applied Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves Distress inks to the white paper panel using an ink blending tool to create a gradient. 2) I then layered Hero Arts Swirl Tree Stencil over the panel. 3) I layered WET TISSUE over the stencil because I wanted to take out colours :D Pressed entire area for 3~4minutes. (using wet tissue is so easy and handy technique lol!!)

20141007-03-ENHooray! I was soooo~ satisfied with the results. Yay!! A mysteriously romantic. Isn’t it?

20141007-02-ENI added different sized clear rhinestones and spritzed Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Opaque White ink splattering for finishing touches.

CASE Study 4th Anniversary Week 4

Hello folks!
My card today has been inspired by Jill Foster’s awesome card!

Here is her card:
CASE205-01Absolutely amazing!!!

And… here is my take on it:
20140902-01To create this card, I chose the largest flower stamp from Penny Black Floral Applique Stamp Set as a focal point and Stampington & Company Come Hither Stamp as well at first. I then stamped outline flower in Onyx Black pigment ink and the letters in Vintage Sepia pigment ink. Once dry, I painted whole panel include flower using several distress inks and then inked the edges with Vintage Photo & Black Soot Distress ink on an Ink Blending tool. Besides it, I applied white acrylic paint to the sides of red pattern paper panel till I had the look I wanted and also inked the edges with Black Soot Distress ink. Lastly, I added ink splatters for finishing touch.

20140902-02For sentiment, I used Wplus9 Hand Lettered Hello Die.

20140902-03Woo-hoo!! I really love this vintage look lol!

Big! Big congrats on the 4th Anniversary!!!

ric#66 – Sportmax

Hello folks,
My card today is for a new Runway Inspired Challenge #66 (I love Runway!)
ric badgeric66-Sportmaxric#66 – Sportmax
Wow… red, pink, violet on deep blue… really amazing colour combo!!! I love, love, love it.

Here is what I came up with:
20140826-01

For this card, I made deep blue paper panel using Studio Calico Color Theory Ink Deja Blue at first. I then affixed diagonally red, violet, and pink glitter striped along deep blue panel onto the white cardstock.

I chose a large rose stamp from Clearly Besotted Blooming Stamp Set and stamped on the separate white cardstock using Simon Says Stamps dye inks and then cut and layered them to form a cluster. In the centre of the flower cluster, I stamped sentiment in black pigment ink and then heat embossed it in clear – It is more shiny than just stamped sentiment – I affixed Studio Calico wood sequins for finishing touch.

20140826-02Oh! I didn’t forget to coat the roses using glossy accent :D

And… one more card here:
20140826-03YAY!! Watercolour card here! I am seriously Water-Colour-Lover :D Basically, I stamped on the watercolour paper using Wplus9 Stamps Coming Up Roses Stamp Set and then painted it using several distress inks.

20140826-04I had SO so so much fun with them.

CASE Study 4th Anniversary Week 3

Hello folks,
MONDAY! and it is such a beautiful sunny day in Sydney!!! Did you have a nice weekend? I did :D

My card today has been inspired by Julie Ebersole’s gorgeous black outlined flower card in the Case Study 4th Anniversary blog hop.
CSC204-InspirationLook at this card! Wow!! It is really stunning. I seriously couldn’t take my eyes off of it when I saw Julie’s black outlined flower and her details!

Here is my take on it:
20140825-01I chose outline flower stamps from IndigoBlu Live Laugh Stamp set and stamped on the white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black. I then die cut word ‘CELEBRATE’ from Little B Block Out Die Set instead of stamped sentiment for looking more bold. I added yellow & black watercolour splatters onto the stamped cardstock and affixed several clear rhinestones to finish it off.

Here is a detailed view:
