Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to the first day of the Altenew’s 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop!! If you arrived here from the WOW! Embossing Powder blog you are on the right track!
This blog hop is in honour of celebrating the 3rd Anniversary of the Altenew. I am so honoured to be taking part in this blog hop celebration!!

I made a happy birthday card for the Altenew!! I love making white heat embossed images + Distress ink blended background with the Altenew flower stamp set! I randomly heat embossed flowers and leaves from the Floral Garden set in the New Day card kit on watercolour panel in white, and then ink blended on it with some Distress inks in rainbow order: Festive Berries, Scattered Straw, Crushed Olive, Peacock Feathers and Victorian Velvet. I then lightly brushed on the ink blended panel using a wet paint brush. Once the panel was dry, I mounted it on Spicy Yogurt card base using foam tape first, and then added the sentiment banner using foam tape as well.
Happy 3rd anniversary, awesome Altenew!!

SSS Happy Birthday

Hello crafty friends!
Today I’m popping in to share with you my fun birthday card with some of my favourite SSS stamp sets.
movieup(Image from google)
Have you seen Disney animated movie “UP” before? 78-year-old balloon salesman ties thousands of balloons to his house, flies away to the South American wilderness. This animated movie is a great inspiration to me especially when I create birthday themed projects :D

Here is what I came up with (See what I mean? :D):
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-001 I started by stamping cute bunny from the Cuddly Critters set, a cone hat from the Cuddly Critters Accessories set on white card stock in black hybrid ink, coloured them with Copic markers, then die cut them with the matching dies. Next, I die cut a piece of white card stock using the Basic Rectangles panel die, then stamped balloons (patterned circles from the Circle Friends stamp set, hearts from the Lila’s Heart stamp set) on the panel using several SSS dye and hybrid inks: (Pink circle) Rosie Cheeks, (Yellow circle) Sunshine, (Red circle) Hero Arts Neon Red, (Dark red heart) Schoolhouse Red, (dotty heart) Sunkist. I drew balloon strings using Copic Multiliner Black.
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-002I mounted the stamped panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the bunny wearing a birthday party hat on the bottom of the panel using foam tape. For the sentiments, I used the Cuddly Critters Accessories stamp set.
yoonsunhur-20170220-sssp03-003This cute little bunny tied the balloons to one of his eyes to celebrate his best friend’s birthday! So cute :D

Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

MFT January Release Countdown – Day 5

Hello crafty friends. Wishing you a very happy new year 2017!!
Welcome to the My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day 5.
NewReleaseCountdown_Day5My cards today featuring the Knight in Shining Armor and Once upon a Time stamp sets – we will take you to the fairy tale world!!
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-a001For my first card, I made a watercolour card. As you may know, I love to create my own watercoloured background with stamps. First, I randomly stamped the images from the Knight in Shining Armor and Once upon a Time sets on watercolour paper panel using Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then coloured them with Peerless watercolors and Distress markers.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-a002For the brink frame, I die cut it from watercolour paper using the Stitched Rectangle Frames Die-namics. I then laid the English Brick Wall stencil on it, inked with Vintage Photo Distress ink, and then lightly touched with water. For the sentiment, I stamped it from the Once upon a Time set on white card stock in Black Licorice hybrid ink, and then die cut it with the Stitched Sentiment Strips Die-namics. Finally, I mounted them on the Kraft card base using foam tape.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-a003
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-b001Here is another watercolour card. I stamped knight and princess on watercolour paper using Black Licorice hybrid ink, coloured them with Distress markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies. For the castle, I die cut the pieces from colour card stocks using the Castle Die-namics, assembled them.
yoonsunhur-201701-mftrc-day5-b002Isn’t the Castle Die-namics amazing? This is so brilliant!!
