Dazzling Snowflakes

Hello folks! Just popping in to share my holiday greeting cards with Hero Arts Dazzling Snowflake Stamp. I’m entering them in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge: Mad About Metallics!

Here is what I came up with:
20141021-01-04 Gold and silver is a very traditional colours of Christmas! I created two cards using the same design, but in different metallic colour themes. I believed it would be great to show how one layout could be used either way!

20141021-01-01 The first card, I heat embossed on the white cardstock in gold and spritzed shiny pearl gold as well. I love GOLD!!

20141021-01-02 The second card, I used silver metallic embossing powder and Studio Calico Mister Huey’s Calico Shine.

The Card Concept #21 – Sunflowers

Hello folks! Are you enjoying the lovely autumn weather?

Today I want to share a NEW challenge at The Card Concept! Check out the gorgeous inspiration below:
IP-No21 I love, love, love those beautiful sunflowers!!

And… here is what I came up with:

As part of the wild card team, I am to create a card in the Clean and Layered style! I thought dies and layered card, those two make a very good combination!

I die-cut Poppystamps Bountiful Sunflower as a focal point. Next I made two different sized pattern paper panels and die-cut a circle out of the panel each. I then the sunflower & leaves went both under and over the circle window.

Merry Christmas Filigree

Hello folks! Today I want to share my 3rd Christmas card with Hero Arts stamps with you! I love Hero Arts 2014 Christmas stamp sets so much. Those stamp sets make me think of watercolouring. Don’t you think?!

Anyway, I’m entering this card in the Hero Arts Holiday Challenge: Anything Goes holiday cards and projects!

Here is my first card:
First I heat embossed Hero Arts Merry Christmas Filigree Stamp on the watercolour paper in white. I then coloured around the stamped sentiment using my Peerless watercolours! To finish it off I added white & gold ink splatters to the background and sentiment area.

My second card is watercolour card as well:
20141013-03-EN I made Christmas tree shape card. I think it could be used not only card but also hanging ornament on a Christmas tree :D

I die-cut onto the watercolour paper using Sizzix Trees Christmas die and heat embossed Hero Arts Merry Christmas Filigree Stamp in white. I then blended Tumbled Glass, Peacock Feathers, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves distress inks using an ink blending tool. I then layered Simon Says Stamp Falling Snow Stencil over the panel and applied white embossing paste. To finish it off I spritzed it with water and added some white ink splatters onto the tree shaped panel for having a snowy winter in my card even though I can’t get a white Christmas in Sydney…lol!
