SSS Lucky to Know You Release Blog Hop – Day 2

Hello crafty friends!
Welcome to Day 2 of the Simon Says Stamp Lucky to Know You Release Blog Hop! If you arrived here from super talented Laura Bassen’s blog you are on the right track!

For my first card, I’m featuring so adorable Bunny Butt Peek A Boo stamp & die set. I die cut the Wonky Rectangle panel from watercolour paper first, and then stamped bunny’s butt on the centre of the panel using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I coloured it with Altenew alcohol markers, and then die cut it with the matching die. I added green leaves using the new Leaves stencils & green coloured dye inks.
It’s a Peek-A-Boo window! The back of the Peek A Boo bunny, I stamped & coloured the bunny’s face, fussy cut it, and then adhered it. Inside the Peek-A-Boo window, I stamped the Layered Tulips with several Simon’s dye inks & added floral clear sequins:
Tulip petals : (light to dark) Rose Apple & Lipstick Red dye inks
Leaves : Green Apple & Green Leaf dye inks.
This Peek-A-Boo bunny is SUPER CUTE!!

For my other two cards, I made the Easter cards with brand new CZ Design Inlaid Cross, CZ Design He is Risen Words, Daffodil Stem, Crocus Flowers dies – these are definitely my most favourites among the April products.
For the Daffodil background, I die cut daffodils from watercolour paper using the Daffodil Stem die first, and then inked inner pieces using Fossilized Amber Distress ink & Green Apple dye ink. I applied double-sided tape to the back of 4 outlined daffodil die cut, and then inlaid all of the pieces in place.
For the cross on the centre, I used the CZ Design Inlaid Cross die set – it is so gorgeous! I die cut the solid cross from kraft paper, patterned cross from white cardstock, then assembled them together using foam tape.
For the sentiment, I used the CZ Design Clean Line Faith stamp set.

For the floral background as above, I used the Daffodil Stem & the Crocus Flowers die sets. And I used the CZ Design He is Risen die set for the sentiment.
The whole world is now shuddering due to coronavirus. I’m praying that God protect all of us and strongly believe that God protect us! FAITH OVER FEAR!!

SSS I Really Like You

Happy Saturday, crafty friends!
I have a couple of Valentine’s Day cards with the newly-released Simon Says Stamp love-themed products today.
For my first card, I used the Peony Bouquet stencil along with the CZ Design Like You Words stamp & die set.
To create the card, I die cut two rectangle panels from thick white cardstock – one is 4.25 x 5.5″ basic panel and another is 4 x 5.25″ wonky panel. I then made a heart window panel using the wonky rectangle panel. I placed heart window panel on the basic rectangle panel, traced along a heart with a pencil.
I laid the Peony Bouquet stencil over the panel in place.
I applied Tattered Rose Distress ink over the heart window panel, Picked Raspberry Distress ink over the basic panel using blender brush.
I stamped the You Are background on the heart window panel using Tea Dye Distress ink. For the sentiment, I used the CZ Design Like You Words die set.
We tend to believe that “I love you” is the most romantic phrase but sometimes “I like you” is more romantic than I love you. Don’t you think? :D

Here is another Valentine’s Day card with the Like You Words set. I placed the Tumbling Hearts stencil over the wonky rectangle watercolour panel, applied Tattered Rose Distress ink on it using blender brush.
I stamped heart wreath from the CZ Design I Still Do set on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink three times, coloured them with Altenew red alcohol markers, and then die cut them with the matching die.
I mounted the pink hearts patterned panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements on the card using form tape. I added water drops using Tonic Nuvo Morning Dew Crystal Drops.

Simon is celebrating 18 years with this amazing sale. So don’t miss out! The code is EGHTN845.

Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend.

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

PPP Layered Hearts Background

Hello, crafty friends. I have two Valentine’s Day & two birthday cards with the newly-released Layered Hearts Stencils today.
For my first card, I used the Layered Hearts stencils, Large Floral Hearts set, and Happy Valentine’s Day Script die.
I started by making pink hearts background with stencils. I laid Layer A over the 4.25 x 5.5″ watercolour paper panel in place, applied Tattered Rose Distress ink, Worn Lipstick over the Layer B using blender brush. I then smoothly inked Tattered Rose Distress ink all over the panel using mini round ink blending tool. I stamped heart-shaped floral wreath from the Large Floral Hearts set on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured with Altenew Artist markers, and then die cut it with the matching die. I die cut the Happy Valentine’s Day Script from white cardstock as well. I mounted the hearts background panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added all elements using foam tape.

For my second Valentine’s Day card, I made a blue hearts background with Mermaid Lagoon & Faded Jeans Distress inks.
I stamped floral heart (from the Large Floral Hearts set), swans (from the Pond Friends set) on white cardstock using Memento Tuxedo Black, coloured them with alcohol markers, and then die cut them with the matching dies.
Here is a yellow hearts background with Scattered Straw & Fossilized Amber Distress inks. I inked Scattered Straw over the Layer A, Fossilized Amber (vivid yellow) over the Layer B.
I die cut the Balloon Shaker from thick white, bow from glitter gold cardstock. I embellished with a few Buttercream Jewels.

My last card today is a shaker birthday card. I made a green hearts background with Crushed Olive & Cracked Pistachio Distress inks first. I then die cut the Scallop Rectangle Frame from white cardstock, adhered the acetate behind the frame, added lots of seed beads, clear sequins, and silver mini star confetti.
For the sentiment, I used the Happy Birthday To You Script die.
The new Layered Hearts Stencils are SO adorable!!

PPP 6th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Hello, hello crafty friends, happy Monday.
Welcome to the first day of the Pretty Pink Posh 6th Birthday Celebration Blog Hop. Yes, Pretty Pink Posh turned 6! Come join this 3 days celebration for fun, inspiration and surprises!!
For my first card, I’m featuring the new Balloon Shaker die – it’s my most favourite among the entire January released products. For the background panel, I die cut stitched rectangle panel from red cardstock using the Stitched Notes die. I heat embossed the birthday borders with clear embossing powder, then added white pigment ink all over the panel.
I die cut the Balloon Shaker from white cardstock, I die cut a bow from the Twine and Bows die set from glitter gold cardstock. I mounted all elements as shown in the picture using foam tape, and then embellished with a few sparkling clear sequins mix.

Here is another fun birthday card using the Birthday Frame and the Happy Birthday to You Script dies. I started by die cutting the Birthday Frame from watercolour paper. I then inked some Distress inks to the Birthday Frame in rainbow order using blender brush. After inking up, I applied water to lighten colours.
Once the frame was dry, I adhered the acetate behind the frame – made a shaker window panel. I added sequins to the centre of the gray card – I used mini sparkling clear flowers, gold mini star confetti, 6mm sweetheart mix and sparkling clear mix sequins. I then covered the birthday frame over the card. For the sentiment, I die cut the Happy Birthday to You from white cardstock, then added it to the centre of the card (as shown in the picture) using foam tape.
