Neat and Tangled 3rd Birthday Blog Hop

I’m SO excited (and so honoured) to be a part of Neat & Tangled’s 3rd Birthday Blog Hop! I believe many of you are also enjoying this happy birthday hop, right?!

YoonsunHur-20150814-NaT-A01So adorable bear, isn’t it? I love Danielle’s hand drawing. She has magic hands!!!

For my first card, I used a newly released Happiest Birthday stamp set. I 1) Stamped bear onto the watercolour panel with black pigment ink, coloured it with Peerless watercolours. 2) Stamped lots of party images on the watercolour paper using black pigment ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolours as well, die cut balloon using MFT Blueprints 26 Die-namics. 3) Mounted all elements as shown to the white card base, embellished with enamel dots to finish it off.

YoonsunHur-20150814-NaT-A03For my second card, I used so beautiful Heart of Gold Stamp Set. I 1) Stamped faceted hearts onto the watercolour paper using embossing ink, gold heat embossed. 2) Coloured them with Distress markers using waterbrush and then fussy cut them. 3) Stamped the sentiment on the black paper using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 4) Mounted all elements as shown to the white card base, added white ink splatters for finishing touches.

SSS Hello Cards

Hello crafty friends, are you having a great weekend?
Today I am sharing with you my summery cards with SSS Splash of Color ‘Hello’ die!

YoonsunHur-20150809-SSS-Hello01For my first card, I made a subtle tone-on-tone background. I 1) Die cut ‘Hello‘ word from the white card stock (10 times) and then adhered them on the white panel, added pearl gold ink splatters. 2) Die cut ‘Hello‘ from the Lemon Chiffon, Sea Glass, Green Apple card stocks (3 times each), made thicker die cuts. 3) Mounted them as shown to the Fog Gray card base. 4) Embellished with PPP clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-20150809-SSS-Hello03For my second card, I used ‘Hello‘ negative panel. 1) I positioned ‘Hello’ word die on the white panel and die cut 3 times -I kept my positive pieces for future projects. 2) For my own watercolour background, I coloured on the watercolour paper with MFT Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash dye inks using a wet paintbrush, added white ink splatters. 3) I adhered the die-cut panel to the watercolour panel using dimensional foam tape. 4) I added small sentiment banner, white thread, and enamel dots for finishing touches.

Pretty Pink Posh – August Release Blog Hop!

AugustRelease-BannerPretty Pink Posh released Storybook 1, Twine and Bows, and Stitched Speech Bubbles Dies this month. Those dies are super gorgeous as always!!

To create the card, I 1) Made my own watercolour background -painted onto the watercolour panel with MFT Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash dye inks using a wet paintbrush, added white ink splatters. 2) Die cut Storybook 1 from the watercolour paper -I used negative pieces. 3) Stamped summery images from MFT Polynesian Paradise stamp set using black pigment ink, coloured them with Peerless watercolours. 4) Mounted all pieces as shown to the coloured panel. 5) Embellished with clear sequins.

YoonsunHur-20150807-PPP-B01Those tiny bows are super cute!! For this card, I used Twine and Bows Dies.

To create the card, I 1) Stamped flowers from SSS Flowers On My Mind stamp set on the kraft paper panel using embossing ink, clear heat embossed. 2) Die cut twines and bows from the colour card stocks using Twine and Bows Dies. 3) Mounted twines and bows as shown to the stamped panel.
