Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge

Hello crafty friends, I am so honoured to be playing along with the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge this month!ELLEN-TITLEEssentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog.
ELLEN-IPI was inspired by beautiful flowers and ombré pink, so romantic!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160210-EllenPinSightsChallenge-A001For my ombré watercolour background, I 1) Coloured on watercolour paper with (from the bottom) Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar Distress inks using a wet flat brush. 2) Trimmed it with Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. 3) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Bohemian Garden set at the centre of the watercoloured panel using embossing ink, clear heat embossed (Make sure to completely dry your panel!). 4) Applied a bit of water around the embossed images using a paint brush to remove the ink. 5) Added Picked Raspberry ink splatters. For the sentiment, I used Be-YOU-Tiful die. I cut it 3 additional times and layered it to give it some dimension.

YoonsunHur-20160210-EllenPinSightsChallenge-B001For my second card, I 1) Stamped the flowers and leaves from Bohemian Garden set on watercolour paper panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2) Coloured them with Distress inks using a waterbrush: Picked Raspberry, Worn Lipstick, and Spun Sugar for flowers and Bundled Sage for leaves. 3) Added opaque white ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment from Love You So by set on the watercoloured panel in pigment black. 5) Mounted it on A2 size white card base using double-sided tape.

Hello crafty friends!
Today I am just popping in to show you the watercolour flower card that I’ve made using Wplus9 Beautiful Bouquet: Ranunculus stamp set. Wplus9 is one of my beloved stamp companies and their flower stamps are so beautiful, always!

YoonsunHur-20160218-Wplus9-001With this new Ranunculus stamp set, I couldn’t resist watercolouring! I just wanted to make a beautiful spring card filled with colourful flowers.

For my no line watercolour card, I 1) Stamped the image from Wplus9 Ranunculus set onto watercolour paper panel using Antique Linen Distress ink. 2) Coloured them with Distress markers (Supply links are at the bottom of the post). 3) Added black ink splatters. 4) Stamped the sentiment in pigment black. 5) Mounted the panel on A2 size white card base using double-sided tape.

MFT WSC 268

Hello crafty friends!
Today I want to share with you my card for My Favorite Things Wednesday Sketch Challenge 268.
MFT_WSC_268
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20160217-MFTWSC268-001Most of you may know that I love making my own pattern with stamps and Out of This World set is out of this world, literally!!

For the background, I stamped the images from Out of This World set randomly onto watercolour paper panel in pigment black, coloured them with Peerless watercolours using a paintbrush, then added opaque white ink splatters and silly eyes. I used Star Strips Die-namics as the horizontal line element.

PrintMFT_GumballGreetings_KitPreviewThis fun and happy kit is officially available in the MFT Store now!! I love its bright and cheerful rainbow color scheme, and… the dimensional circle confetti?! – Super awesome!!

Gumball Greeting Card Kit
Gumball Greetings Stamp Set
Gumball Machine Die-namics
4 Premium Dye Ink Cubes – Wild Cherry, Pineapple, Blueberry, and Black Licorice
Rainbow Stripes 6 x 6 Paper Pack
15 Sheets of card stock – 3 sheets Smooth White, 2 sheets Silver Shine, 1 sheet Wild Cherry, 1 sheet Orange Zest, 1 sheet Pineapple, 1 sheet Dill Pickle, 1 sheet Blu Raspberry, 1 sheet Lush Lagoon, 1 sheet Blueberry, 1 sheet Boysenberry, 1 sheet Cement Gray, 1 sheet Black Licorice
Pack of 10 Shaker Card Pouches
1 package of Gumball Mix – Dimensional Circle Confetti

Here is what I camp up with:
YoonsunHur-20160216-MFT-FebCardKit-001For my card today, I started with a diagonal rainbow stripe pattern – I die cut from the Rainbow Stripes paper pack using Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX Die-namics. I die cut a piece of white card stock using Stitched Mini Scallop Rectangle STAX Die-namics and made a shaker window. I then die cut all parts of Gumball Machine from Wild Cherry, Pineapple and Silver Foil card stocks, then put them together on the white mini scallop rectangle panel using double-sided tape – It looks very much like a real machine! For the shaker window, I inserted 2″ circle shaker pouch into a shaker window, affixed the back of it and then filled the dimensional circle confetti.
