Flora & Fauna: Hello

Hello crafty friends, happy Monday!!
Today I want to share with you a watercoloured “Hello” card that I’ve made using the Flora & Fauna Wildflower Seeds and Snail Mail stamp sets.

Here is what I came up with:
I love watercolour! I love it, you know!! I stamped leaves (from the Wildflower Seeds and Snail Mail sets) on watercolour panel using some green & blue Distress inks: Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive, Evergreen Bough, Peacock Feathers, Twisted Citron, and Mermaid Lagoon. I then freely brushed the stamped images with a wet paint brush – Distress inks react with water! (Oh, It was so fun and I just love it!!) I stamped butterflies & dragonfly from the Wildflower set on white card stock in pigment black ink, then fussy cut them. I stamped the sentiment “hello” from the Texture set on the bottom right corner of the watercoloured panel in pigment black ink. Lastly I mounted the main panel on white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added butterflies and dragonfly around the sentiment area using foam tape. I also added Nuvo Glitter Drops.
I want to breathe fresh air in this leafy forest! :D
Thank you so much for stopping by. Happy crafting!

Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!

PPP Sea Friends

Hello crafty friends, happy Thursday!
Today I want to share with you a fun shaker card that I’ve made using the PPP Sea Friends Stamp Set.

Here is what I came up with:
I started by stamping adorable sea creatures from the Sea Friends set on white card stock using Memento Tuxedo Black dye ink. I then coloured them with Copic markers, die cut them with the Sea Friends coordinating dies. Next, I die cut the Scallop Rectangle Frame from ivory card stock, and then adhered the acetate behind the frame using double-sided tape. I ink blended on the watercolour paper with Mowed Lawn, Mermaid Lagoon, Faded Jeans, Seedless Preserves Distress inks, and mini ink blending tool, and then lightly brushed with water, added opaque white ink splatters. Once the blended panel was completely dry, I adhered the sea creatures on the panel using fine tip glue pen. I mounted the “under the sea” scene on top-folded ivory card base using double-sided tape first, added some clear sequins, then covered it with the scalloped rectangle frame using foam tape.
Ta-da!! I stamped the sentiment (from the Thoughtful Greetings stamp set) inside the card. :D
