Hello crafty friends, happy weekend!
Today I want to share with you a mother’s day card that I made using SSS Sketch Ranunculus & Wild Beauty stamp sets I designed and You Are My Favorite die.
For my card today, I was inspired by my amazingly talented friend Wanda Guess (if you want to see her beautiful cards -> click here).
First, I die cut the word “YOU ARE MY FAVORITE” from watercolour paper panel – I used the negative die cut panel and set aside the positive alpha die cuts for another day.
I stamped the outlined flowers and leaves from Sketch Ranunculus and Wild Beauty sets on the die cut panel using VersaMark Embossing ink, then heat embossed with Hero Arts White embossing powder.
I watercoloured the stamped area with Kuretake Gansai Tambi Watercolor using a flat brush – I used (from the top) No.36 Wine Red, No.32 Red, No.33 Orange, and No.43 Mid Yellow.
Lastly, I mounted the watercoloured panel to the top-folded kraft card base using dimensional foam tape, then embellished with a few PPP clear droplets.
“Mum, you are my FAVORITE!!”
Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a wonderful weekend!
Keep smiling and be blessed! God bless you all!
