SSS Falling For You – Lila’s Heart

Hello crafty friends, TGIF! Today I want to share with you my cards with SSS Falling For You Exclusives.

YoonsunHur-20150605-SSS01Oh my… I looooove Lila’s Heart and Lovely Spring Stamp sets so much! Lila and flowers are obviously two different stamp sets but in my eyes, they seem to be in one set.

1)For the Lila –Jennifer‘s precious daughter- I used no-line watercoloring technique with Distress markers. I stamped it on the watercolour papel with Distress ink Antique Linen, coloured with Distress markers –Festive Berries, Fired Brick, Vintage Photo, Brushed Corduroy, Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Tattered Rose. Then, I die cut it with matching dies. 2)For the flower panel, I used Lovely Spring Stamp Set. I stamped flowers and leaves on the white cardstock with MFT dye inks. YoonsunHur-20150605-SSS02 My second card is watercolour flower card: YoonsunHur-20150605-SSS03To create the card, I used second-generation stamping with Distress inks. I inked up the image with Distress ink (e.g. heart with Distress ink Festive Berries), stamped it on the leftover white paper. Then, without re-inking it, stamped the image again on the watercolour panel. I then, painted it using waterbrush. It is so easy way to make watercolour card.  I coloured the background with Distress ink Pumice Stone. YoonsunHur-20150605-SSS04

PPP Watercolor Blog Hop!

WatercolorBloghopIt’s no wonder watercolour is still a hot trend in cardmaking and my most favourite medium is definitely watercolour. I bet all of you love seeing beautiful watercolor projects from the design team members and Guest Designers in this hop :D

YoonsunHur-20150605-PPP-Watercolor01For my first card, I used Essentials by Ellen Wild Garden & Be-YOU-Tiful Dies as my main supplies. 1)I loosely coloured on the watercolour panel with several distress inks in rainbow order –Festive Berries, Dried Marigold, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Peacock Feathers, Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry. 2)I die cut from the white cardstock using Essentials by Ellen Wild Garden, positioned them on the coloured panel, adhered them in place. Then, I added machine stitches. 3)I die cut Be-YOU-Tiful from the red cardstock three times, affixed all pieces together. 4)I embellished some clear sequins(4mm, 6mm, 8mm) for finishing touches.

YoonsunHur-20150605-PPP-Watercolor03For my second card, I used MFT Modern Blooms, Watercolor Flowers, and Written in Watercolor Stamp sets. 1)I inked the flower using Distress ink and then spritzed the inked stamp with water using a Mini Mister. I then stamped the flower on the watercolour panel, dry it using heat tool. This technique was repeated several times. 2)I lightly traced the outline of the flowers with black multiliner. 3)For the sentiment, I stamped it with MFT Black Licorice hybrid ink. 4)I added some clear sequins(4mm, 6mm, 8mm) as always :D

YoonsunHur-20150605-PPP-Watercolor05Honestly, this card wasn’t my original plan for this hop but, I realised I need to try another watercolour card without flowers. Lol!

For my last watercolour card, I used MFT Stars & Wishes, Lucky Stars Die-namics as my main supplies. For my ombre watercolour background, I painted on the watercolour panel with After Midnight, Lush Lagoon, Blu Raspberry, Summer Splash dye inks (from the bottom to the top) using a wide paint brush. When I make watercolour background I brush the water over the panel before apply the colours. It will allow the colours to blend more naturally.

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Guest Designer

Hello crafty friends, happy Wednesday!
I am guest designing with Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge this month. I am SO honoured and excited to be a part of the amazing team!!

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150603-SSSWC01To create the card, I used Waffle Flower In Every Way Stamp Set as my main supply. 1)I stamped ‘Perfect’ and ‘Awesome’ words on the watercolour panel using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I loosely coloured around the stamped area with Peerless watercolours using water brush. 3)I added small letters, gold & black sequins as shown to the coloured panel. I think boys, girls, men and women all are like the colours of the rainbow, aren’t they? :D

MFT June Release – New Product Launch

YoonsunHur-MFT-JuneRelease-Day5-01 To create the card, 1)I inked the flower stamp using MFT dye inks and then spritzed the inked stamp with water using a Mini Mister. I then stamped the flowers on the watercolour panel, dry it using heat tool. I stamped the flowers with Coral Crush, Wild Cherry, Persimmon, Orange Fizz, Red Hot, Lemon Drop, Grape Jelly dye inks and the leaves with Jellybean Green, Limelight, Sour Apple, Limeade.

YoonsunHur-MFT-JuneRelease-NPLFor my second card, I made masculine birthday card with Written in Watercolor Stamp set. 1)I stamped ‘happy birthday’ diagonally across the watercolour panel with (from the top to the bottom) Blu Raspberry, Lush Lagoon, Tropical Teal dye inks. I then stamped the same sentiment another piece of white paper with After Midnight dye ink again, fussy cut it. 2)I just mounted ‘happy’ word as shown to the stamped panel using dimensional foam tape, added some clear sequins.
