YoonsunHur-20150624-Wplus9I was inspired by the beautiful colours!

To create the card, 1)I stamped Watercolored Anemones onto the watercolour panel with embossing ink, white heat embossed. 2)I then coloured the stamped panel with Distress Ink Wild HoneyMustard Seed, Squeezed Lemonade using a wet paintbrush. 3)For the sentiment, I die cut ‘Hello’ from the white cardstock using Wplus9 Hand Lettered Hello Die, added silver glitter powder at the bottom of the sentiment die cut.

Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150610-TCC-01I am so in love with rainbow colours and butterflies!

For my rainbow background, I used MFT dye inks -my most favourite inks these days. 1)I coloured on the watercolour panel with Wild Cherry, Lemon Drop, Sour Apple, Summer Splash, Lush Lagoon, Grape Jelly dye inks in rainbow order using wide paint brush. Then, I added some water droplets. 2)I die cut butterflies from the white cardstock. 3)I mounted butterfly die cuts, sentiment banner as shown to the coloured panel. 4)To finish it off, I embellished some clear sequins.

TCC #36 – Green and White

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept!
36
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150527-TCC36-01I was inspired by the green & white colour combo and diagonal striped paper straws!

For my card today, I used Studio Calico Happy Something Stamp Set as my main supply. 1)I stamped the sentiments and cupcakes diagonally across the watercolour panel with black pigment ink. 2)I then loosely coloured around the stamped areas with Peerless watercolours. 3)I stamped the ‘Forty’ word with black pigment ink, clear heat embossed, fussy cut it. I then mounted it above the cupcake image like a birthday candle using dimensional foam tape. 4)To finish it off, I added some enamel dots, washi tape, leaf wood veneer as shown to the stamped panel.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept!
TCC-IP35
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150513-TCC02Cupcake frosting looks like real flowers and I love the pastel colours!!

To create the card, 1)I stamped MFT Burlap Background on the kraft cardstock using embossing ink, clear heat embossed. I then cut cross-stitch rectangle panel out of the stamped panel. 2)I die cut MFT Large Hybrid Heirloom Rose from colour cardstock to make 3D paper flowers. 3)For the sentiment, I stamped it from MFT For the Boys Stamp Set on the black cardstock using embossing ink, white heat embossed. 4)Lastly, I mounted all of them as shown to the kraft cardstock, embellished with mixed clear sequins.
YoonsunHur-20150513-TCC03YoonsunHur-20150513-TCC05When I make 3D paper flower card I take lots of close up shots using a variety of angles so that I can choose the best ones :D

TCC #34 – Pretty Paper Packaging

Happy Wednesday everyone! Here we are again with a new challenge at The Card Concept!
TCC-IP34
Here is what I came up with:
YoonsunHur-20150429-Altenew-01When I saw the inspirational picture,  I instantly grabbed Altenew Vintage Roses Stamp Set -beyond any doubt! I was inspired by the colours and beautiful rose tag.

For my card today, 1)I applied masking tape to the watercolour panel to create a vertical stripes -ensure that no ink will seep under the mask. I then sponged onto the panel with Distress ink Peacock Feathers using blending tool, added some water droplets, pearl white ink splatters. 2)For the focal point, I stamped roses & leaves from Altenew Vintage Roses Stamp Set with MFT Hybrid Inks -Roses: Pink Lemonade, Cotton Candy, Razzle Berry, Red Hot / Leaves: Lemon DropSno Cone, Spearmint, Berrylicious, Gumdrop Green, Summer Splash, Tropical Teal. When the stamped image dry I fussy cut, mounted it on the stripe pattern panel using dimensional foam tape. 3)Mixed clear sequins were the finishing touches.
