This month’s Altenew Craft-A-Flower set features a gorgeous Antique Rose!
I die cut flowers from shades of red, leaves from shades of green using the CAF Antique Rose Layering die set first, and then layered all pieces together using fine tip glue pen just the way the guidebook instructs it.
For the background, I dry embossed onto kraft paper panel using the Mod Squares 3D embossing folder. To blend in with the antique roses, I tore some parts of the background panel.
For my second card, I die cut flowers & leaves from watercolour paper, layered them together, and then watercoloured them with Distress inks.

For some reason, your roses look as if they have even more layers than anyone else’s. It must be your color choices that give everything more depth. I also like your idea of roughing up the card stock background to make it look antique. Both cards are just gorgeous.
