Hello crafty friends, happy STAMPtember!
Today I want to share with you my watercolour card with the SSS STAMPtember® Henna Patterns Stamp Set and Grateful Dies.
To create the card, I 1) Die cut a piece of cold press watercolour paper using the A2 sized Basic Rectangles die. 2) Stamped the images from the Henna Patterns set on the right side of the watercolour paper panel using VersaFine Onyx Black. 3) Coloured all images with Peerless watercolors and water brush. 4) Coloured the background with Wild Honey, Dried Marigold, and Crushed Olive Distress inks, then added some red ink splatters. 5) Die cut the word “Grateful” from white card stock using the Grateful die four times, stacked them up together using the fine-tip glue pen, and then ink blended on the bottom half of the word die cut with Wild Honey and Spiced Marmalade Distress inks using mini round blending tool. 6) Mounted the watercoloured panel on A2 white card base using double-sided tape first, and then added the sentiments on it.

This is so beautiful! I love that you’ve done the “thick, different colors” thing with the sentiment but that I can still read it! So many of the cards I’ve seen, that technique with the sentiment winds up lost in the confusion. Your card has wonderful balance, color placement and these flowers are so happy! Excellent work!
